This winter has been a good one for Knoxville but I swear.... it seems like it’s been 40° and cloudy the last 2 months. .

That’s correct. They started talking about that storm a week before it happened and it was a mild winter. I had about 18” at my house but my aunt in Union Co had around 2’. . -

TDOT cams show it’s snowing heavy in downtown Knoxville .

A friend texted me from west Knoxville and said it’s mostly snow with a little sleet but said it’s coming down pretty good .

Cannot tell by the cameras in Rockwood but the TDOT map has sections of red around that area. .

I cannot remember the last time interstate 40 was basically snow covered from Memphis to probably 20ish miles east of Nashville. Maybe around 150 miles or something? .
