  1. Meso models do look better for the mason-dixon folks. PA is cooking too...SBCAPE pushing 3,000 near Pittsburgh.
  2. lol at the 6z GFS precip...we won't get a quarter of that. Meso guidance is a real snoozer today locally, even looks north of here.
  3. One bone to pick with LWX...there really was no reason to include Montgomery on those Tornado Warnings.
  4. Tops on the WV cell just dropped ~15,000 feet...maybe a core collapse or re-cycling?
  5. 64 kts at ~1,600 ft AGL between Rippon and Charles Town. There's you winner per the HRRR. Heads up Loudoun County.
  6. Updated warning has 2" hail and 70 mph winds for Charles Town...wow.
  7. Wow 3" hail marker on the MBR storm...hail core suspended at 40,000 feet! Heads up Charles Town! Lots of lightning out ahead of it so the line is probably going to scream into Loudoun and Fairfax Counties shortly.
  8. Tops pushing 60,000 feet just west of Martinsburg....pseudo warm front was analyzed on the WPC precip disco in that vicinity so it's possible it could start spinning.
  9. The expanded area was due to the concern that propogation of the line would spark storms deeper into MD, similar to June 2012 / 2013. I agree with you though that if they left it the same as the morning SWODY1 that it would've been okay. NOVA and WV look like they're gonna get smacked pretty good.
  10. Possible rotation near Martinsburg...a TOR wouldn't shock me.
  11. The Martinsburg activity is the best chance for DC.
  12. CWG needs to stop hyping events. This isn't similar to the 2012 event.
  13. That's actually somewhat uninspiring...still a stout cap too.
  14. I don't think we get a MOD risk after looking at the SPEC IAD sounding.
