  1. 3-6" maybe on the back side? We know how notoriously fast things end though? I don't have high hopes either even up here. Getting harder and harder any more to have a classic snowstorm...
  2. Every time there is a prolonged fetch off the ocean the sleet line shoots n and w. Happens every time around here, no matter if there is a huge high to the north or not. Usually there's a model that shows it though that we dismiss but not this time. I don't expect things to go back to snow around here until the pivot unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong..
  3. Back to sleet in Hopewell. Still think we ll probably get a foot due the duration but the real big totals are going to be in the lehigh valley. I bet my area down through se pa doesn't flip until late afternoon. Going to waste a lot of qpf as sleet.
  4. Back to all snow in Hopewell. Several measurements in the yard average around 8" out there. Getting tough to measure with blowing though. I still don't have a legit board here yet so take my measurements with an * for sure. Anyone else nearby can verify?
  5. Back to mostly sleet in Hopewell. Dry air getting annoyingly close as well. If we don't change back soon, I'm heading north up 31.
  6. I'm ripping snow now in Hopewell and that was mostly sleet about 45 mins ago. Should be changing over your way soon!
  7. Ok log off and stop posting then if you think it's over. Thanks from literally every other board member in advance.
  8. Seems like the height of the storm will be 18z - 00z tonight. There will still be periods of moderate even heavy before and after those times but that time period should be the heaviest. 6 hours of 1-2"+ hour rates!
  9. Sleet already changing back to parachutes here in Hopewell as the heavier banding begins to move in. Radar looks great for every one Philly North imo
  10. Looks to be around 6 inches so far in Hopewell. Looking forward to the coastal and another possible 12+!
  11. Well log off, and stop posting then. Worst of it hasn't even began forming. It's legit going to snow all day. (And night). I'd say by 9 am we should see the coastal start moving in.
  12. It's going to snow all day tomorrow and all night tomorrow night. The storm is legit a quarter the way through, chill.
  13. I still think someone will see 30" in the ccb pivot with ratios.
  14. Probably from like 04z-09z, seems like it could be back in full force by 12z and last all day through 00z... You can already see banding beginning to form off the coast.
  15. 4.5" so far in Hopewell. Roads are a mess but not going to lie it's pretty fun driving around with no one on the road. Looks like a brief lull coming before the coastal... Time for a nap in a little bit and regroup at 3-4 am to see where we stand. Great start!!
  16. Is the HRRR better at miller B evolution over every other model than the nam? Asking for a friend?
  17. Big parachutes the last half hour in Lower Makefield. First dose of heavy snow.
  18. Parachutes now in lower makefield. Nice band coming through at the moment.
  19. 3.5" in levittown when I left at 7 pm. Currently at lower makefield to see a friend and watch some flyers, about the same amount there. Roads were all snow covered even the major ones but intensity seemed to wane a bit the last hour.
  20. Grass is just about covered in levittown. Guesstimate between 2-2.5". I'll measure before I head back to Hopewell around 7 - 8 pm. Can't wait for this drive! Starting to really come.down in the last hour or so, definitely moderate.
  21. Drove down to levittown to drop off some soup for my parents. Everything's covered down here and a light steady snow coming down. Major action at the bird feeder... The birds know something big is coming...
  22. Light snow in Hopewell. 23f/15 dp. Only a good 4 or so hours earlier than anticipated. That's one checkmark down of a great storm. It will be interesting if anyone sees any accumulation today, I look at this as bonus snow.
