    @yoda says that that area has been warned for awhile, so I may have been mistaken. I swear that the advisory area shrank and the warned area increased, but I'm old enough to know that I am wrong a lot.

    Those are false returns. It's not coming down as heavily as the radar suggests. Its due to the angle of the radar beam.

    Seriously. It's the radar site. It's scanning diagonally and picking up more data than it does in other areas and giving false returns.

    I don't know, dude. The radar is impressive and just getting cranking. It'll be weird going over to snow here before areas further west, but I think that might happen as the heavier bands rotate in from the southeast.
