  1. Nice! I have a NEIPA in the fermenter that gets kegged today. Unfortunately, the used freezer that I bought died so I am in the process of a new build. I'm not sure you remember, but I glued the collar onto the old 7.2 cu ft keezer, and I was hoping to cut it off and re-use it on the exact same freezer model, but no such luck. That dang Gorilla glue caulk adhesive is serious stuff! It worked out for the better though because I picked up a great deal on a 7.8 cu ft freezer that was cheaper and holds at least one more keg and maybe two. It'll be nice to be able to have extra on hand for the bigger parties we do here (Christmas and Black Eye Susan Day). This time though, I am going with the build you did and made a removable collar. It'll be finished before the stuff I keg today is ready for drinking next weekend. Here's a pic... What are you brewing today?
  2. Eating my go to egg, ham, and cheese on white toast as I type!
  3. Lol. And just as I type that, our band starts drying up.
  4. We are in a lucky spot right now. The radar looks good for us for at least another hour. I expect alternating bursts like this and lulls throughout the day.
  5. Yeah, it's snowing very nicely here now. A few bands like this today would be great.
  6. And now the radar is looking much healthier. Let's see what happens as those bands start stacking up against the wall.
  7. For us north of 70, it's nice to see some radar returns popping up to the west. I don't much care about totals at this point, but I'd like to see it snow throughout the day and into the evening. Nothing better to me than snow falling as day goes to night.
  8. Picking up here and when it does, it piles up fast.
  9. Lol. Did anyone else use wonder bread wrappers as a kid to help get those damn rubber boots over your shoes? Very light snow here now.
  10. I kid you not that white toast and butter is a huge weakness for me. I love it. I'd finish my paper route as a kid and ride circles on my Stingray outside my grandmother's house until she'd come outside and say, "Son number 3, come on in and have something to eat!" She made the best toast because she always had a stick of real butter softened on the counter in a covered dish. Damn, she was a great cook! By the way, it's snowing.
  11. Gotcha. I crab off of Dominion Rd so I know where you're talking about. I'll check it out when I'm in the area. And nothing wrong with drinking your product if you can afford it.
  12. My go to quick meal is egg, ham and cheese on white toast. And I love beer. His fridge would keep me happy for at least 3 days.
  13. I've been drinking sips of scotch between pints of water after three dozen oysters earlier today, so I think I'll join you for a beer. I'm going with a sour. Weyerbacher Rico Guave. And where on Kent island is that brewery?
  14. He's a professional beer drinker. Literally. Eyeballing about an inch in steady, light, puffy snow.
  15. Its going to be funny when those bands that come in from the south hit the wall and stack up dumping on the worried northern crew. Snow globe outside here now. Beautiful.
  16. I dig the enthusiasm, but Beachin should change his name to Geekin.
