    At this lead time, they only feed the weenies and make them post more, and then it all ends in disappointment. And regarding a post that Ji made, the only way he'd be happy with 6-8" is if everyone else gets 4. If there's a spot within a hundred miles of him that does any better, he would call the storm a fail.

    Cloudy and 30 here this morning. I don't expect to see anything frozen with the precip still two or three hours away, but safe travels to all the holiday trekkers, especially those driving in the western areas today.

    I think it was WxUSAF that said the FV3 outperformed the current gfs with the last system, so I am going to just assume that the 6z 384 hour panel is right.

    I sided with them last night. Hard to argue with climb especially when model consensus was late to correct. I like that NWS broke HoCo and MoCo into eastern and western zones
