The radar returns looked pretty promising before going to bed last night, but woke up to a meager .03" in the gauge. Models did well with the sharp cutoff.

@Bob Chill and @leesburg 04 A good friend of mine is a contractor and had off and on sciatica pain (mostly ON) for years and recently had an in and out procedure by this doctor back in July. Don't remind me. I had one of the lower snow totals in the area last year. eta: 18.7" The total sounds better than I remember the winter. A lot of penny and nickel events.

Thanks, and no damage. It's an old house that had a french drain put in around the interior walls before I moved in about 15 years ago. When it's raining really hard like last night, a little bit of water can miss the corrugated plastic of the french drain and make a small puddle. My sump pump will be working overtime for a few days. No big deal, and I know better than to keep anything important down there.

2.04" from the storm, and 8.50" for October. I even had a little water in the basement this morning.

.79" overnight here and 6.47" for October. About a week ago, I think @WxUSAF said the yearly deficit was over 6" at BWI, and now I think it's just over 2". And we might make a lot of that up tonight.
