  1. You JUST got notice??? The kids and staff have known for 90 minutes.
  2. All the MD schools will announce their early dismissals within 30 minutes of each other. No leaders and all followers.
  3. The 6z gfs isn't done yet, but from the 0Z, the column for BWI looks pretty good.
  4. Just a guess, but I'd be surprised if school systems in the advisory areas don't announce an early dismissal to reduce late afternoon and evening traffic.
  5. WWA's extended south to include DC now. Should be a fun afternoon!
  6. Just went outside and removed the inner cylinder of the gauge. About 33 and frost.
  7. “Yeah, I’m coming over. We don’t need to talk or anything. Just save me a window seat.”
  8. I’m not disagreeing, but the dropping dew point temps have my interest. Down to 20* at bwi and iad, 19* at York, and 18* @t dca. Heavy rates could be fun.
  9. Also, that dude that used to live here, @snownut I think, and lives out there now, posted a few days ago that he was having a cruddy year.
  10. The batteries fans threw at players were worse than the snowballs thrown at Santa.
  11. Well, Tuesday's slushy coating up around your parts will be a special occasion this winter.
  12. I was there a couple weeks ago for the first time in almost a year, and although I was disappointed that the dart boards are gone , the beers have vastly improved. It was a cold, pre Christmas Day when I was there, so I found myself drawn to the Yukon Cornelius Stout.
  13. I'm going to call it now. Snow for the AFC Championship game in Bmore on the 19th.
  14. I measure 6.3” from that event. I remember cross country skiing at the golf course here.
  15. If things play out that way, I could see myself at Falling Branch on Sunday.
  16. Not surprising, but the gfs is looking much different for the middle of next week. Pesky GL low is weaker and something trying to brew along front near the Gulf.
  17. Barring anything unexpected, 3.92” here for December, and 48.25” for the year. 17.9” of snow in the calendar year, though it seems like much less.
