  1. 1/2' of snow and now drizzle/rain this morning. Not much happening this far south in Michigan.
  2. Wind seems to be the theme lately. We have had several very windy systems in February and now March. I recorded a 63 MPH gust overnight with only 0.07” of rain.
  3. You can definitely see the south and east trend from February in this graphic. While I am at it, here is the DJF summary also.
  4. That is a year or more worth of snow for 95% or more of this forum in a single month.
  5. A lot of those areas in the above normal precipitation chances could sure use some.
  6. 2" in Zeeland. On the low end of what GRR forecasted but nice to see white again.
  7. Yesterday GRR wasn’t certain if we even needed a wind advisory. The winds today have been worse than Friday night. Peaked out at 59MPH so far today and the number of gusts above 50 at my house is way higher than Friday night.
  8. GRR probably just guaranteed no snow for us next week in their afternoon AFD. Ostuno was a little excited about our prospects next week. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=GRR&issuedby=GRR&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1
  9. Did it soak in or just sit on the surface and run off?
  10. Experience says cut that in half. I might be wrong, but that has served me well with those models in the past.
  11. That was fantasy at its best. Actual outcome - 1.45" of rain so far and if I am lucky 1" of snow still on the way.
  12. Late in the game. Nothin like dashing your hopes as game time approaches.
  13. I think this is what Harry and Rogue are frequently complaining about.
  14. It is the NAM. Cut the numbers in half and you will be much closer to reality.
  15. Who will be the first to argue the sun angle will prevent accumulation during the daytime hours?
  16. Hoping for the seasonal trend of a shift south over time. Unfortunately if it starts south now, it will probably keep right on going south until like the last storm I am missed to the south.
  17. Had about 2" of snow this morning. I can't believe stuff this heavy and we can drift but it sure did. Almost didn't get out of my driveway. Dragging bottom multiple times on the way out to work.
  18. We managed a couple days of W/WNW winds to get some decent LES but most of the winter it has been exactly as you described it. N or NNW and areas hugging the coast cashing in.
