  1. are we going to have to have this same argument on EVERY page of this thread? Fringe, ffs, stop this crap. Take it elsewhere. Please.
  2. tough but fair. I have no defense to that, really.
  3. Another repeat would be so bitter up in northern maryland.
  4. Seriously? I call bullshit. No way you are happy with 3 inches next year in an area that averages around 20.
  5. “It will climb” ”no way that stays that far south” ”fuck you outer banks”
  6. I am seeing "shutout" area-wide musings from mets and learned folk in the main thread. A reminder of the targets... BWI: .7 - '49/'50 1.2 - '72/'73 1.8 - 2011/12 1.8 - 2019/20 2.3 - 2001/02 DCA .1 - '97/'98 .1 - '72/'73 .6 - 2019/20 2.0 - 2011/12 2.2 - '75/'76 Dulles: 2.2 - '72/'73 2.6 - 2001/02 2.9 - 2019/20 3.7 - 2011/12 4.4 - '80/'81
  7. Not for nothing, but I assume people know the long awaited favorable pattern change will finally arrive on or around April 10…days and days - weeks really - of 43 with an east wind.
  8. Welcome - separate thread only if we are within about 72 hours and it looks like some part of the area will see snow/frozen…
  9. Not for northern balt county. That looks like Jan 3 , 2022 for us again.
  10. Hello. I don't know who needs to hear this. but one run is not a trend. Not at 8 days out from partly cloudy.
  11. that sounds exactly right. GEFS knows climo. anywhere but here.
  12. I am sure it was. Then again, since it was my first year up here. let's just say that Jan 3, 2022 thing that gave 9 inches give or take Loudon over to DC up to Columbia area while we get about a 1/4 of an inch...left a mark.
  13. that fringed humor got a lot less funny when I moved up this way and we actually started getting...fringed.
  14. As for how things stand now, as the board's resident bengals fan, bengals and ravens definitely got short end of a stick in a very unfortunate situation - but it is what it is. Bengals were playing for the 2 seed if they had beaten bills, and they had a definite chance to find a way to a win. As it stands, likely locked into the 3. Ravens lose all chance at playing for division if bengals/bills is declared a no contest. But making bengals/bills play during usual wildcard weekend while every other AFC playoff team rests up is a pretty lousy suggestion too. Lots of bad options. It's gonna blow for Bengals if they get past ravens in a playoff game to have to go to Buffalo in next round when they were playing for right to a second playoff home game of their own. But, in the end, most everyone will be unhappy. Except for KC, which gets the 1 seed despite having lost to both Buffalo and Cincinnati.
  15. Current murmuring is about them adding an 8th playoff team in each conference so no teams get the benefit of a bye. Figures Steelers would find a way to worm into things...
  16. In fairness, one should never take comfort in a flush hit solution or a north and west solution either. In general, never take comfort. And, man, this board lives up to that.
  17. Given that I have literally seen two minutes of flurries - TOTAL - so far - that would indeed be nice.
