Pretty disappointing bust up this way for that storm in northern Maryland. Like. almost nothing kinda bust. But glad you all got to experience that one. Probably helps now with patience.
Just amusing/bitter to see northern MS and western TN with a white christmas and...ah well. More than 50% of the country but not the mid-altantic. Brutal.
Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to bump this thread again
Because the winds they blow so cold
and yet we remain stuck in failure mode
and the memories of snow that were planted in my brain
still remain
within the sounds of silence
BUMP
I was more just referencing the absolute miss on anything fun in terms of any kind of snow at all but yet howling winds and cold. Just fucking sucks. With this cold , could have been the fabled white Christmas too. Just…blech.
Yeah, just fed the birds, and it is a lake of standing water around my house and on the driveway. I guess even if it doesn’t snow a bit it’s gonn be treacherous for a bit - legit flash freezes are rare. Interesting to see one maybe.
Still looks like a period of snow possible , right? That’s my unlearned take on the radar. A little wetter than I had been told to hope as the cold arrives maybe…
Literally, EVERY POST from you is negative. And has been. Just saying. We can all read the same maps. We all don't need to post each shitty iteration. But, we all have our role. No one in our area wishcast shit this AM and the western highlands folks are doing well. So good for them and glad for them.
That's nothing to mess with. I saw the devastating effects of a flash freeze in the documentary film "The Day After Tomorrow". Jake Gyllenhall barely got to safety.
