  1. And so it begins… The long slow march to first frost, first freeze & first Winter Storm Warning.
  2. Glorious morning with low dews & a breeze. Perfect time to sip coffee out back on the patio.
  3. That’s a fringe that I want no part of! DuBois in the 70s while I roast in the 90s!
  4. Lol, I’m getting excited for Winter just thinking about posting snow maps!
  5. He will need separate columns for Ops & your favorite models, the ensembles, Lol!
  6. Lol, post away! In just a few short months, I’ll be back to posting never ending snow maps!
  7. If you are outside with your hose, get inside per CTP, Lol! Hopefully you just get good rain & no damage!
  8. .33 of grass greening rain today so far in Marysville. It literally already looks to be improving some crispy areas of my lawn.
  9. That line in south central PA looks to be holding together. Hopefully it delivers more goods for most of us this evening.
  10. I didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers. I just wanted to document that MDT & Williamsport are above normal for rain for the calendar year to date. Those Phillies announcers were legendary. I learned a lot about baseball from those guys. They were fantastic story tellers & they made the games interesting, even during all of the bad seasons. As for your Winter comment, I would rather MDT score more snow in order to pad the official stats. If I get a little less, that’s fine because it might make my snow removal at home a little easier. If there was a massive difference, then I am sure that I’d be on here crying about it, Lol!
  11. What MDT gets matters. Just look at this past snowfall season. My yard, just 20 minutes from MDT, got 25 inches of snow, which is just slightly below the MDT normal of 30 inches. During the final February snow event this year, MDT missed out on the heavy band of snow that crushed my yard, & the northern Harrisburg suburbs. My yard got 7” & MDT got less than 2” from that event. That single band of snow caused MDT’s seasonal total to end up at 18” instead of what could have been near 24” if they got in that heavy band. The MDT seasonal total would have been fairly respectable. No one should care about my yard! History will remember & show the MDT total. When we collectively look back, we will look at MDT stats to shape our assessments of a given year.
