  1. I can’t wait until snow map season is upon us in a few short months! Map after map after map…
  2. Good news, I’m on the board this week already with .01 of rain overnight. Dew point is still a gross 71 currently.
  3. @Bubbler86 @Itstrainingtime Understood. I understand the last couple of months have been rough for some areas. I was just pointing out the yearly totals so we look at the whole picture. Hopefully it all evens out soon & those areas suffering get the rain that they need.
  4. This map cheered me up! The oppressive heat & endless humidity has worn me down this Summer. Fall & Winter can’t arrive soon enough. I will stay in my lane & not post any more about the rainfall surplus. You will only get rain totals, temp & dew point reports from me the rest of this Summer!
  5. Lol, I wouldn’t mind if MDT beat my yard. No one cares about my yard. Guess who cares about what MDT reports…? The media & history…that’s who!
  6. Come on, we all hold that town near & dear to our hearts on here.
  7. I expanded my search because apparently Harrisburg & Williamsport were not enough evidence.
  8. I get that a few yards on here are suffering from a rainfall deficit, but I’m just pointing out that the big picture shows a rain surplus for most major official reporting locations in PA this year to date.
  9. Ok, last one just for fun to show my point of yet another year to date rainfall surplus… Our favorite town—DuBois !
  10. Lol, here we go… Should I mention the Cowboys playoff disasters from this century. Let's not go there.
  11. Nope, apparently I need to show the information. Here is Allentown
  12. All I’m saying is that the PA major official reporting stations have a surplus of rain this year.
  13. The PA DEP has no current drought declarations for any county as of 8/3/24.
  14. I just looked at major reporting sites in PA. Sorry, I didn’t check DuBois. I am not gloating, but just pointing out that the MAJOR cities in PA that have OFFICIAL reporting sites all show a surplus.
  15. I just did a quick scan on the National Weather Service website & every major official reporting station has a surplus of rain for the year. This includes Philly, Pittsburgh, Allentown & Scranton-Wilkes-Barre. A few back yards are missing out, but it’s pretty unanimous that there really won’t be a memorable drought this year according to the official data.
  16. Williamsport, the other official CTP reporting station for historical data will also say “what drought?” for 2024 with their 5” surplus year to date.
  17. Officially, MDT has a 3” surplus for the year & is less than 1” below normal for Met. summer. Years from now, most of us will look back at the historical numbers & say “what drought?” for 2024 at MDT.
  18. @Jns2183 might need 50” to crack the rain dome that he supposedly has over his house.
  19. If we get a few inches of rain from this Tropical Storm next week, this spotty drought will be over.
  20. Rain & more rain in Marysville today. .82 of rain today. 2.76 for the week.
