  1. I just scanned through it & didn’t see where he made predictions for temperatures or snow. He just had a summary towards the end with general thoughts. In past years, he would give month by month maps with above & below normal that usually were confusing as hell!
  2. Great post by @Weather Will in the Mid Atlantic thread… December looks promising on the Euro weeklies. “Latest WB weeklies still look good for December.”
  3. Right on queue, the 18z GFS this run has 2 winter storm chances for us between the 5th & 10th of December.
  4. Yes, I appreciate you taking this one for the team! Hopefully it snows while you are in FL and then we get another one to greet you upon your return to PA.
  5. Yes, it would be the first since December of 2020 when many of us got near a foot of snow. I would be happy with a region wide low end Warning 5 to 8 type of snow event to get the party started!
  6. Many of the good posters in the Mid Atlantic & New England threads like the look & potential of the pattern for the first week of December. I am looking forward to tracking our first legit threat!
  7. After our seasonable Thanksgiving, Nothing but Below normal temperatures this week.
  8. Today Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph. Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 6 to 10 mph. Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Light and variable wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Saturday Night Increasing clouds, with a low around 27. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunday Night Rain likely before 1am, then a slight chance of showers after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Monday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 28. Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Tuesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 41.
  9. The 3 major ensembles are featuring a -NAO for the first week of December. The EPS has the best look, but the pattern looks workable on each with chances for Winter weather a possibility.
  10. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hopefully this holiday season is full of tracking that becomes ground truth snow for all!
  11. 1.92 of rain for me here in Marysville for this event. With ratios, I could have easily reach 2 feet in non drifted areas…
  12. Each of the 3 major global ensembles still have a favorable looking pattern for the last week of November into the first week of December. We could have some chances with these looks showing. It is also good to see a general agreement at this range.
  13. The pattern being advertised on the ensembles & towards the end of the Op runs for the last week of November into the first week of December should provide a window of opportunity for potential Winter weather in our region.
  14. Great looking pattern! Hopefully we get on the board by the first week of December.
  15. I like the look of the 12z Canadian out at day 9. The system this run ends up passing off to our south, but I would take my chances with this look. Hopefully we get this type of chance several times this season.
  16. I wish that the 12z Euro run went out 1 or 2 days more to see where all of the moisture in the south central & Gulf states would have tracked with the cold air in place in our region. Let’s see later on if the EPS will continue to be favorable for the last week of the month?
  17. I like seeing the GFS with a low passing off of the coast to our south & east at this range for the last week of November potential window.
