We need to remember the T today when our seasonal total at MDT finishes up at 49.9 inches of snow….
We will wish that we had the official .2 today at MDT that could have pushed us over the magical 50 inch mark!
Year after year….what else should we expect?
Multiple reports all around MDT this morning of a couple of tenths of snow on the ground…
Maybe their overnight final numbers will revise it, but I’m not holding my breath.
I like that I’ve seen snow 3 times at my house since last Wednesday.
Hopefully it is a positive signal for the upcoming Winter.
It of course has not added up to much, but at the very least, it has made it feel festive.
Good to see this report from Lancaster.
Hopefully there are similar conditions in Maytown so the @Itstrainingtime leaving town snow index remains intact!
@mitchnick
You were waiting on a better snow signal on an ensemble run.
Here is the best looking ensemble run that I’ve seen yet this year for our region through day 16.

Lol, I’ll contribute to fund him staying there as long as it takes!
Don’t you have Florida connections so we could find him a place to stay down there for awhile?
DT also referred to the Euro Weeklies, which have been very consistently showing the good pattern beginning around the 20th and continuing through mid January.
Good times are on the way on here…
The latest Euro Weeklies continue to advertise a very good looking Winter pattern developing around December 20th & lasting through the end of the run in mid January.
The Euro Weeklies have been remarkably consistent for the last couple of weeks of runs. The best part is that they have not pushed back the beginning of the good period which has been consistently starting around the 20th.
If these come close to verifying & we get this pattern to lock in for several weeks….let’s just say we would be very busy on here tracking Winter storm after storm.
Bottom line, we should at least have opportunities if the Euro is close to right.
