  1. The models are slowly coming around to the idea of a light possible event on the 27th.
  2. Yes & at least we are not facing a snow shut out heading into January thanks to yesterday.
  3. These 2 days could have been really amazing if some of the looks for a major snowstorm that the various models gave us late last week for a few days actually came to fruition. At least most of us had an Advisory level snow yesterday & many saw snow flakes flying this morning. MDT is officially on the board with 2 inches of snow and they are now really only 2 inches below normal for the snow season to date.
  4. Actually still some flurries flying to make it feel festive!
  5. 23 in Marysville with the sun coming out & and the light snow has ended.
  6. Unfortunately it looks like precip is lifting north & east rapidly. I am going to enjoy the snowflakes while I can…!
  7. 27 in Marysville with light snow falling & wind is blowing it sideways.
  8. Any signs of secondary low development near Delaware this morning?
  9. Multiple Reports in the Mid Atlantic thread saying flipping to snow now in areas just to the west of Baltimore & DC.
  10. Here are the 9 am Obs from CTP. 3 in Pittsburgh & 40s in the LSV!
  11. There appears to be a little bit of back building on the radar near the WV panhandle. Some models have been popping a secondary low near Delaware on runs the last few days, so we may see some precip enhancement near the LSV this morning.
  12. 12z HRRR & NAMs still say .5 to 1 inch of snow is on the way this morning.
  13. 39 in Marysville….waiting for today’s show to begin!
  14. What the heck, it’s almost Christmas…why not dust off the old SREF, lol! It brings around 1 inch of snow to the LSV tomorrow & this is 10-1, So probably a little more if Kuchera was available.
  15. 1z HRRR has upped the snow potential for tomorrow for the Harrisburg area.
  16. 3k NAM also improved LSV post front snow chance tomorrow.
  17. Let’s hope the old 12k NAM is on the right track with post front snow tomorrow.
  18. Here is the long awaited 18z Euro Kuchera map for tomorrow.
  19. Great post by @CAPE in the Mid Atlantic thread about where the pattern is heading in January. Latest edition of the Euro weeklies. Pretty much the same pattern progression as other extended products on the Pacific side. NAO neutral/slightly+. Around the 10th and esp beyond, the pattern turns colder/ more favorable.
  20. MDT is officially on the board with 2.0 inches of snow today as of the 5 pm daily summary. If they get around 1 inch tomorrow, they will be only around 1 inch below normal snow through tomorrow’s date.
  21. Exactly, the 12z Euro shows about 1 inch tomorrow in the LSV.
