  1. 1z HRRR has upped the snow potential for tomorrow for the Harrisburg area.
  2. 3k NAM also improved LSV post front snow chance tomorrow.
  3. Let’s hope the old 12k NAM is on the right track with post front snow tomorrow.
  4. Here is the long awaited 18z Euro Kuchera map for tomorrow.
  5. Great post by @CAPE in the Mid Atlantic thread about where the pattern is heading in January. Latest edition of the Euro weeklies. Pretty much the same pattern progression as other extended products on the Pacific side. NAO neutral/slightly+. Around the 10th and esp beyond, the pattern turns colder/ more favorable.
  6. MDT is officially on the board with 2.0 inches of snow today as of the 5 pm daily summary. If they get around 1 inch tomorrow, they will be only around 1 inch below normal snow through tomorrow’s date.
  7. Exactly, the 12z Euro shows about 1 inch tomorrow in the LSV.
  8. 3.1 inches of snow in Marysville at 11:30 am. Same story here as @CarlislePaWx just mentioned for the last half hour. When rates pick up, snow flake size increases, but when it backs off, possible mixing is occurring with small fine flakes. My Temp is up to 33 now. It looks beautiful out there just a few days before Christmas!
  9. Still snowing a good clip at 10 am at MDT…. We hopefully will get a decent measurement in the books…right?
  10. MDT reporting heavy snow at 9 am with .25 visibility. They shouldn’t be able to just put a “ T “ in the books today…right?
  11. Same here in Marysville! Moderate to Heavy snow started about 30 minutes ago. All surfaces caved! I love seeing the heavy snow reports to my south as well.

  14. Best HRRR run yet..lol, even @paweather will approve of this run!
  15. I think rates as always will help the areas that see the best accumulations.
  16. Best GFS run yet for Harrisburg & York for the front end.
  17. Lol, I have no idea what you are looking at for the 0z GFS. See the maps that I just posted. This is the best GFS run yet for the front end potential tomorrow.
  18. The 0z GFS looks good for front end snow tomorrow for Harrisburg & York to the north & west.
  19. Latest 2z HRRR is getting even better for all of the LSV.
  20. Great start to the 0z runs with the HRRR. It keeps snow going in the Harrisburg area well into the afternoon.
  21. I think it’s just a matter of time until more counties are added to the CTP Advisory.
  22. The 18z Euro shows a little potential for a light coating of snow on the back end post front.
  23. The 18z Euro joined the rest of the 18z models with a similar snow line showing.
