  1. While we wait for the rest of 12z runs to roll in…. Let’s have a little fun in looking at the 6z GFS snow map for the full 16 day run! @paweather this is for you…. Maybe we finally cash in this week & next week?
  2. The 12z ICON has the Wednesday front end thump for all of CTP. The snow thump then changes to a little rain & then the dry slot quickly ends the rain this run, so maybe all of our snow won’t be washed away.
  3. The 6z EPS improved the snow a little for the Wednesday event. It now gets the blue through all of Lancaster county and well into MD.
  4. Also, the chances continue after next Wednesday’s event. The 6z GFS has this for Ground Hog day.
  5. Yes, but I’ll take what little bit of snow that I can get tomorrow while tracking the Wednesday event which is improving.
  6. The 0z EPS & 6z GEFS ensembles improved again for the Wednesday potential. This is only the 24 hr. period for the Wednesday event.
  7. Yes, there is nothing better to me in this hobby than watching it snow, while tracking another snow chance a few days later. This week, we have the chance of getting snow on snow.
  8. High pressure in southern Canada seems to stick around longer this 6z GFS run, which helps to pull the snow line even further south into MD. The “blue” now gets into northern MD this run, which @Itstrainingtime likes to see, which gives us some cushion.
  9. The 6z GFS still looks great for the Wednesday front end thump of snow for all of CTP.
  10. Here is the 0z Euro Wednesday snow map for this storm 24 hr period.
  11. For Wednesday, the 0z Euro has a good front end thump of snow for all of CTP, including the LSV.
  12. Overnight runs scaled back The “Church” Sunday storm, but still give MDst around 1 inch of snow, with more to the north & west. This is the 6z GFS & 0z Euro
  13. Here is the 0z GFS snow map- just for the Wednesday event time period.
  14. Nice to see the Highs showing up to our north funneling in cold enough air.
  15. Back to snow tracking….in January… The 0z GFS has a very nice front end thump of snow on Wednesday for all of CTP
  16. I’m seeing 4 days over 80 on here in mid April. 8 out of the last 10 days of the month stayed in the 50s with almost 2 inches of rain…
  17. The 0z ICON has some decent front end snow for us on Wednesday.
  18. The 0z RGEM looks decent for the Sunday event and even brings a couple of inches to parts of the LSV.
  19. Same here, sorry if I was cranky as well… I’m just frustrated with this Winter. I’m just being sarcastic with my drought comments and just joking around on a Friday night.
  20. It’s all good, but his post was questionable on many fronts in my opinion…
  21. Anyway, someone should contact CTP to have that Drought Watch reposted!!! Lol, we have resorted to drought & torch talk on January 21st!!! I am going to track down some snow for us!
  22. Yes, it can happen, but it’s well above average when it does, especially in early to mid April, & absolutely in March, 80 is super rare.
  23. Ok, maybe late April we get a few low 80s every so often, but certainly 80 is well above average for any date in April. 80 in March like that guy just posted is super rare!
  24. Lol, that’s why I said to keep the permanent drought watch…. I’m planning on no mowing & dead grass this year! Less yard work is a win!
