  1. I agree, I also think we have at least 1 and maybe 2 events in the next 10 days or so.
  2. More of Winter is still left if you count March & April snow…. Not to open an old can of worms… Lol!
  3. The second storm on the 0z Euro is a potential major storm with a strong High to the north and a slow moving developing low pressure crawling up from the south.
  4. The 0z Euro run was fantastic & had 2 snow chances. First one is next Wednesday.
  5. If we get 2 good snowstorms next week, I am good with a warm up for a week. Many forecasters are saying the pattern should improve with blocking possibly coming back for the second half of February into March.
  6. @MAG5035 Any thoughts on the upcoming pattern next week into early February?
  7. Cold air will be pressing. The timing of the waves will be important to our snow chances. If there is too much cold push, the precip will be suppressed. If not enough cold press, the waves will cut west. If we get lucky, maybe we can score a few events in early February.
  8. I ended up getting to 3.1 in Marysville with the last band that went through in the early afternoon.
  9. There looks to be some back building on the radar that may get parts of the LSV with one more decent period of precip. After a lull for about 20 minutes, snow has picked back up to moderate again in Marysville.
  10. MDT recorded Heavy snow with .25 mile visibility at 11 am and 12 pm. They are still reporting snow with 1 mile visibility at 1 pm. Hopefully we get a decent measurement from them later today….
  11. Happy snow day everyone!!! It’s been snowing hard in Marysville since around 10:30. I just measured 2.2 of snow in Marysville and it is still coming down at a good rate. Maybe I’ll make it to 3 if this rate continues for a bit?
  12. Latest HRRR targets For he Harrisburg area and I-81 corridor.
  13. Most schools around here are on a Virtual Learning from home schedule today.
  14. No, most forecasts that I’ve seen have said mid morning start time.
  15. The swath of heavy precip in WV could put down a couple of inches of snow in a hurry when it arrives.
  16. On the other hand, the 6z RGEM brings decent snow to the southern tier including Lancaster.
  17. The 6z NAM and recent HRRR bring 1 to 3 for most of CTP, except unfortunately not much in Lancaster.
  18. The 6z GFS did not back down & remains consistent yet again.
  19. The bottom line is the “south” trend continued on most models this evening. The GFS has been very consistent for days around the Harrisburg area.
  20. Lol… here is the 0z Kuchera…. I think @CarlislePaWx will still do quite well if this verified
  21. The trend is the LSV’s friend at 0z Here is the GFS
  22. The 0z FV3 gets Lancaster & York in the game tomorrow.
