  1. Here you go, just for fun, here is the latest Euro Weeklies Control run from now until March 20th. Maybe for once we will get lucky & have a run like this come close to verifying !
  2. Lol, the 18z GFS is always a thing of wonder at long range!
  3. The 18z GFS has a Miler B look for next Saturday night with a low transferring to the DelMarVa that brings snow to the northern half of PA.
  4. Great points & insight in your post. This time of year my feathers get ruffled if we are having a bad snow year. The talk of record heat & torches just get me in a bad mood when I think of the Winter weather that we could be enjoying if the pattern was different. I have recently embraced enjoying the other seasons over the the last few years. Since getting my home weather station last year, I have enjoyed tracking temperatures, dew points, & precipitation totals. I will try to embrace non-snow weather in the Winter, but it will not be easy. Hopefully we will be tracking a legit Winter storm soon.
  5. Congrats! You have had quite the week of Winter weather down there!
  6. The 12z Euro run was still snowing on us at the end of the run too. Only 10 days away…maybe one of these will work out sometime?
  7. I’ll still be tracking snow every day for the next 2 months. Hopefully the second half is much better than the first half of this so called Winter.
  8. Just think, we can start working on our sun tans & @canderson will be starting his garden this month.
  9. It doesn’t matter how much snow that I get because Cashtown always gets more!
  10. Just a reminder for all of the alarmists… MDT had below normal temperature average for the month of December.
  11. Too much concrete & jet traffic. The record books don’t care about CXY.
  12. At least it’s not as bad as 1932… No jet traffic yet at MDT back then… I wonder what caused it? Bad pattern?….It certainly wasn’t something else…
  13. The 18z EPS improved for tomorrow am and now brings the 1 inch line to York & Lancaster & Rouzerville!
  14. The 18z Euro juiced up a bit for early tomorrow morning. 1 more juiced up run at 0z & maybe an Advisory would be needed for the southern tier?
  15. Congrats to those that got a little bit of snow today.
  16. Impossible! I thought it was permanent Summer around here…. Congrats
  17. Very true about the perception. I am at 9 inches of snow for the season, which is terrible for the end of January, but if I was shutout, I would be thrilled to get that instead.
  18. Good points. Misery loves company…I can handle this type of bad Winter so far because everyone, besides Buffalo, is in this together. I find the years where NYC & New England get crushed with above average snow, while we get ripped off with scraps, to be much more difficult to handle.
  19. Good points, but the tone is out of control by most. Way too much over reaction. People have also lost their sense of history. We have gone through this before & we will feast on good snow years again in the future.
  20. Not you… just the general vibe on the various regional forums on the website. I’ve never seen it so bad on this website in general at the end of January.
  21. No polishing, but I’m just trying to find a way to be positive. Its easy to just say it’s over because it makes people feel better so they can cope. I choose not to give up.
  22. I think that it’s a good time to review the Harrisburg seasonal snowfall totals since 1980. We have been very spoiled with snow for most of the last decade. THAT’S A FACT !
