    Just came back in from a quick, untrained measuring...looks like we're closing in on 2 inches here! Temperature is around 30, big flakes still falling, snow sticking to everything: NICE. Wonder if we're in a boom scenario?

    Just don't understand the no snow part. It's taking a snow track Yeah Ji I that's what is confusing me too...how is it ice with that track??

    Nah we gotta see if we can have one of those waves give us snow...because all snow solutions would end up in foot/feet territory wouldn't they? Feels like next week may be our best chance for that in awhile if it can stay mostly snow!

    Nah he was talking about dandruff...they pre-treated the roads with Head & Shoulders Obs: Light/moderate snow, big fluffy dandruff flakes here! (with maybe a bit of sleet mixed in)

    See I haven't experienced enough ice storms to know if I'd enjoy a bona-fide one...think I prefer snow (although I kinda like a glaze on top of snow though!)

    I guess my question is more about the general pattern being modeled...simply, why all the mixy cutters? Lol

    Now, this is probably my inexperience, but...I'm perplexed at all these sleet/ice solutions we're seeing despite below freezing temps. I wonder what's going on "under the hood", that is what in the pattern is causing us to have these storms modeled with warmer air aloft?
