Alright so it doesn't work anymore. I'm not sure it's gonna take any longer explanations to explain that further. We're screwed for the future, the entire continent is the south now. Got it. I swear everytime I come in here it messes up my day. I was in a good mood till I came on here and read this (true but frustrating) mess. And that's my fault for even peeking in here.

Ya know, if it weren't for a wonderful teacher I had in middle and high school with that same name, the name Hadley would instantly draw my winter ire. I've heard you guys talk about them, and while I don't quite understand the mechanisms and such (and quite frankly I don't think I want to) I know enough to know that I don't like that thing, lol Hey anybody got a picture of one I can put on a punching bag I don't own?

For no reason other than a weenie gut feeling (no doubt influenced in part by 'nac and our history of snows AFTER the 15th) I still believe in that late Jan/early Feb period. It may take about that long (or maybe a week before) to get some kind of favorable change enough to get a window.

Why not just...let it play out more?

All that. We're getting less. More seasons like the last 6...more...of this. Stuff that worked growing up not working anymore. It's not just this fail, but the prospect of fewer snowy winters in the future...frickin' depressing. I can take a bad season, but not the prospect having even MORE like this. And going up north might not even help--look at them right now! Basically living with little to no snow...don't even know if I can be happy like that, tbh Probably can but it'll take getting used too.

This is how I know I'd absolutely hate it during the winter in the deep south and the west. How ya live like this in winter? Smh Ain't nothin' to look forward too! Warm air belongs in April-Oct

I did just go out for a walk for the first time in 3 months...helped a bit. Still brooding about snow the whole time though, lol But it was kinda nice...

Now see what gets me is that there was a storm last year (and another even more so the previous year) that was cold enough but not tucked. Of course, lol

I still don't think we leave this month without measurable snow. Have no clue about next weekend, but...I don't know, a late Jan surprise feels like it's still on the table for some reason, lol (I may have smoked too much 'nac though) But IF we get any favorable trend in the pattern, end of month may be the time it would take from now to get something a little better.

I mean, if ya wanna play that game...GFS showed today's euro outcome like 12z yesterday didn't it? So like...it was ahead now behind? Lol Nah the models are still trying to figure this out. Euro wasn't a trend that was a frickin jump--when even that model does ya know they don't know!

We don't know that...every model is jumping all over the place atm...no model has been stubbornly in one camp or the other, imo

Let all of this make the case for all the misery on these boards up and down the east coast. I don't wanna hear nobody say "Ah it's unreadable" The frickle you think it is? Because of how things are going...that such a mystery??? So inconceivable that people are upset about snow? Yeah they gonna spout off...This and the possible bad snow future is the worst thing that could happen here. I personally am frustrated and depressed. It's not "just weather" to me and I can just poo-poo it away as no big deal. It's something that needs to go better and it hasn't been, and I wanna frickin' smash something in a rage room right about now lookin' at the dang perfect tracks and psu's reminders of it not being cold enough (which then sparks fears and depression about the future and this continuing) Can't do a bit about the weather but it's like if it don't get better...it's frickin' depressing. DJF are the only 3 months...the rest of the time is peace because it's Spring, Summer, Fall where it's not supposed to snow. I'd hate it in the south...but maybe that's our future climo I don't know.
