  1. Maryland put on a shooting clinic tonight, getting their 20th win of the season. Shot 58% from the field, 46% from 3. Outscored Iowa in the second half 54-24.
  2. Wow under 2” here. Still time to get to 0.
  3. Wind gusts to 70 mph with that. Some areas are under a STW, a WWA and a flood watch.
  4. I looked this morning. In the past 3 winters, I’ve had 10 events with between 2” and 3”. Only 3 with more than that, and nothing over 5”.

  6. I picked up 3.0” of snow on only 0.14” liquid. Painful cutoff in that one as areas 15-20 miles to my south had 6-8”.

  8. I have had 1 more inch of snow this winter than I had last winter.
  9. I’m afraid you haven’t found the floor just yet.

  11. 2 feet for Pocomoke River State Park. Nice place. Might have to chase.
  12. 12/15 - 2.2” 1/3 - 0.2” 1/6 - 4.8” 1/11 - 1.0” 1/16- 0.6” 1/19- 5.0” 2/11- 2.7” 2/15- 0.7” total - 17.2”
  13. Pouring big flakes with 1/2 mile visibility. Roads covered. 0.6” on the board. More than that on the grass.
  14. Thought that this was going to be sleet but it’s heavy snow.
  15. Nice burst of snow and a dusting already on unpaved surfaces. 31/25
  16. 32/20 with virga. The trails at White Tail are no longer visible from my yard, so hopefully something starts reaching the ground soon.
  17. Low track from the mouth of the Chesapeake to Cape May is ideal for our area.
  18. WWA up for tomorrow here for some wintry mix.
  19. Not sure exactly where the Knickerbocker storm was measured. Probably the National Weather Bureau site on M St., but could’ve been at the Signal Service offices on G St.,next to Lafayette Square. Both sites reported DC obs during the 1920’s.
