Morris NJ- 526 PM EDT Tue Apr 15 2025 ...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR NORTHEASTERN MORRIS COUNTY... At 525 PM EDT, a shower capable of producing damaging winds was located over Kinnelon, or near Pompton Lakes, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

The euro shows one warm day..Monday..otherwise seasonal which is low 60s which will still feel great

Nothing has really changed except moving the start date up a week to account for a longer playoff season. I think most teams still get the day after opening day off

Irene made landfall in NYC but was no longer a hurricane and most of the damage was from flooding not winds. If we had a cat 2 survive up the coast and make landfall over nyc you'd have localized 100 mph+ winds and probably tropical storm force winds for most of the area
