  1. Ukie is a huge hit
  2. We've been reeking of that for 2 years
  3. I wish the people saying how awesome the pattern looks could just admit that suppression is a possibility
  4. Next 2 to 3 weeks could end up very dry
  5. By weenies who want snow
  6. It's a legitimate concern. But I don't know that it will favor the mid Atlantic either if cold air fails to materialize
  7. I think that's the winter forecast put out in December but who knows.
  8. Potential for. I mean every winter month has potential for 15 inches. Seasonal forecasts called for potential for 30 to 40". It's not really a forecast
  9. They kinda twisted what he actually said "I'm thinking there's still the potential for at least another 15 inches of snow around here," Nick forecasts. And we'll likely see even higher totals inland.
  10. Pretty sure 2009-10 was a lot higher
  11. I saw the sun for 10 minutes so I guess that qualifies as partly
  12. So we need a 1902 repeat to get close
  13. Yes early Jan 18 had a coastal blizzard. Dec had a few events that year as well
  14. I can't think of many recent winters where we had so little through Feb 15th and it turned around. 91-92 comes to mind but ended up well below average. 92-93 flipped early in the month, wound up close to average. 95 was one and done
  15. Even if the pattern flips everything has to go perfectly to get a big snow at the coast. We could be cold with a storm suppressed or too far offshore or a coastal hugger and we end up flipping to rain. I mean eventually our luck has to change but that could very well take til next winter
  16. Warm and rainy with little snow is basically the same thing even if the reasons why are different. Dec 97 was colder than this year and Jan 98 was warmer than this year so its evened out
  17. Yes. We'll get one in the next 3 years though
