25 here. Dry as well as internal humidity is below 35. Had to turn out humidifier for the kids.
-
22 currently. Drove through freezing fog, I think, on our way home last temp from the in laws going past the Jersey City Res.; that or there was a very large fire nearby. Temps were at 31/32 and all of a sudden visibility dropped considerably; once we gained elevation, it cleared out.

38 currently, hard freeze on deck tonight.
-
Lots of clouds around this morning. Comfortable, but it might cap temps.
-
Down to 51 here after the front. Maybe .25” today thankfully.
-
Completely off topic, but these events should really shine a light on the need for considerable upgrades to sanitation and storm water management.

Northwest of 287, I’m glad to be out of the meat of this. Good luck with clean up to all those getting crushed.

2.42” north of Byram and about a 1/2” in Chester, 12 miles due south. Not complaining as my basement was finally drying out.

Sneaky cool morning…45

According to Walt’s map we are at 2.36” and counting.
-
Closing in on 2” with moderate rain now. Radar depiction is like a rotting nor’easter. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come; I can’t remember if we got a single wound up storm last winter.
-
According to Walt’s update we are over 1.5” in my area; makes sense by observations in my yard. Hanging tough so far on basement wetness, but it’s coming.
-
Heaviest rain of the day, with decent gusts. Weird as the radar shows almost nothing over my area.
-
Can’t wait for winter! I mean Jeeesus…
-
I’m more worried about severe flooding if that finger of heavy rain sets up shop over NJ. 4-6” over 36 hours is going to push many areas to the limit.
-
Sandy soil percs incredibly fast compared to the clay mix up north. Helps sink those temps.
-
49 here. Lowest of the early fall season.
-
52 now. Slight beeze out of the NW. I’ve seen people wearing parkas this morning; I’m sticking with shorts/t-shirt until October.
-
Rain has begun, looks like a washout today.
