What if we get snow next Weekend? You could say the GFS sniffed it out first lol.
Gfs had it 3 or 4 runs in a roe a couple days ago

i66 is the 1" line. EZF 3" line. RIC 6" line. Winners of 8-12" NC/VA border
I like it at this Range.
But I'm sure it will show something totally different at 12z tomorrow

Cmc looks pretty good. Gfs is a dumpster fire

Rgem with the rouzerville/marysville snow hole through 84.
Very meh. Not sure if we would get much after 84 but it sucks for our area

js out of curiosity are we not worried that nearly all of the gefs members having a storm for 2/24 have a predominant rain storm?
There's alot of above Normal 850s and 2m temps after day 10. No one is really talking about it but it certainly concerns me.

No doubt if the GFS caves it will be all in 1 run. It will move the low to Toledo and will be looking at 60 degrees lol
Edit - for the Valentines day storm

Parts of Maine went from a foot plus to nothing on the Euro in a day. This is not an insignificant change. Of course, as we get closer there’s only so much change that is reasonably possible
No where close to the final outcome. That was a big move by the Euro. One more like that and it would look alot like the GFS

There's putting a cart before the horse and then there's Ralph. Worrying about a storm destroying future storm chances in a disastrous winter does not compute anywhere in my head. Might need a crtl/alt/delete or something
If I could lock in the 6z gfs and call it a winter after PD3 I'm in.
A SECS then a high end MECS. All within a weeks time.

Are we cliff jumping because of… one op gfs run?
I'm more worried about suppression next Weekend lol. Definitely not an OV track

lol far too much weenie nonsense going on right now over A SINGLE 200+ hour OP run. Calm the fuck down y’all. Did we expect the GFS to hold a massive snowstorm for 200+ hours? Ensembles, ensembles, ensembles at this range.
It’ll be back and gone again by tomorrow. This
By next weekend we're cold enough to snow per the GEFS.
Idgaf about what the GfS says 11 days out lol.

Just looping the 24 hour precip panels on the Gefs it looks like we have southern stream waves on the 18/19, again on the 21st then another on the 23/24.
Maybe there's only 2 waves with timing differences but it looks like 3. That's 3 chances in about 6 days to score something. 850s and 2m temps are below average during that stretch.
Just need patience for a little longer.....
Eta- @brooklynwx99 and @Terpeast ninjaed me while I was typing.
But hey atleast I am seeing the same thing as 2 red taggers lol.
