Sunday's rain event continues to look less and less impressive. Probably a quarter to half inch. Nice mild weather early to mid next week ... likely mid to upper 50s. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone here has a great one.

I agree. This weather is perfect for late November. I'm going outside for a run right now, and it's just warm enough that I can do it without a sweatshirt on. Love it.

57 degrees here. Beautiful day.

The models are showing lower rain amounts now too. 12z GFS less than a quarter inch, and Euro a quarter to half inch for most.

They're speeding it up too. GFS and GGEM now show most of the rain saturday night rather than during the day sunday. Could be a decent 1 inch rainfall.

Yeah the snow showers missed us just slightly to the south. Just some flurries here.

Like last night's Euro, 12z GFS and GGEM are showing rain for next friday. GFS so warm that the rain goes well up into Canada. A long way to go and this certainly has some potential, but right now rain is looking more likely.

Low temp of 27 here. The plants in the vegetable garden finally got finished off. I enjoyed the extended growing season, but it was time. The ragweed pollen was still hanging in there at a low level, so I'm glad we finally got the freeze to end it.

It's 71 degrees here right now. Another spectacular day. This has been the most beautiful first 12 days of November that I can ever remember. So many beautiful days with temps in the 70s. As you said, it's going to be a shock to the system with the much colder temps next week.

Yep, but there's also some heavier downpours mixed in there too. Maybe we can get an inch of rain out of this.

NAM and Euro aren't showing as much as GFS, but still a decent amount of rain. Like I said a half inch to inch looks like a good forecast right now. Also right now the models are showing most of our rain coming from the first batch friday afternoon. They're not really showing a line of strong storms with the front friday night overnight anymore. Overall looking like a boring event, but at least a moderate amount of rain.

Yeah it's not looking very impressive. We still could get a decent rain out of this ... perhaps a half inch to inch. But nothing to write home about. The big amounts will be way to the west.

The timing of this is friday night overnight though. So if we do get any strong t-storms out of it, it will likely be when we're sleeping. This west trend also means we probably won't get big rains. Right now it doesn't appear that this is much to look forward to.

High temp of 78 here today. Felt great with the very low humidity this afternoon. Saturday was the warmest day here when my location hit 80. An incredible 3 day stretch ... felt great doing stuff outside in this kind of warmth this late in the season. Sad to see it come to an end, but hopefully a cooler pattern settling in for mid to late November will be a sign that we'll get some snow in December.

77 here, and I think it feels great with the lowering humidity. Dewpoint is down to 50 here now, and will be down to about 40 by late afternoon. Beautiful day.

A shower here right now. Feels a little muggy with the dewpoint of 63. The growing season continues. But as Allsnow said, it will be ending next weekend. Finally going to see temps below freezing next sunday night. Probably some upper 20s for lows and some days with high temps in the upper 40s.

High temp of 80 here today. Might not hit 80 again tomorrow because it's going to be cloudier, but it's going to be close.

The other day I mentioned that I thought saturday would be just as warm as the other days, and here it is. It's 80 degrees here right now.

It appears that even on saturday temps will make it to the upper 70s here. Three days in a row in which we will be pretty close to 80. Incredible stuff for November.

Excellent! That sounds great. I'm doing everything I can to enjoy this late season warmth as well. Went for a 7 mile run today. Tomorrow I'm going to do bow hunting, and friday I'm going up to Swartswood Park to do some hiking. Gotta take advantage of this spectacular weather while we still have it.

It would be great if it stays warm for most of November, and then flips just in time to get some snow in early December.

A lot of clouds are expected sunday. That could ruin our chance of hitting 80, but we should at least see mid to upper 70s. Bring on the early November blowtorch! Even tomorrow we should get into the low 70s here.

What a stretch next week after the showers for Halloween. Looks like a bunch of 70 degree days. It's going to be spectacular for November.

72 degrees here right now, and it feels a little muggy with the dewpoint at 65. As others have pointed out, the long range looks very warm. More 70 degree weather to come in early november. Looks as if I'll be picking tomatoes and peppers for quite awhile since there's no sign of a freeze in the long range. Maybe even into mid november, which would be the longest growing season here that I can remember.
