  1. Just had another very heavy downpour. A little bit of lightning. Another one on the way that will be here shortly. Very active afternoon and night.
  2. Not surprised to hear that. Torrential downpour. Picked up about 1 inch of rain in a very short period of time here.
  3. Extremely heavy downpour .... coming down in buckets. The storm isn't severe though. Maybe some 30mph gusts, and a few rumbles of thunder. Glad the vegetable garden is getting a good watering though. Man is it coming down out there.
  4. HRRR is showing some nice storms, and 12z RGEM looks pretty active too. Hoping to see a good storm later today. As for tomorrow, it looks as if the best chance of showers/storms is early to mid afternoon. Looking better late day, which is good news for evening cookouts. Great weather sunday and monday. A good holiday weekend overall.
  5. 12z GFS and GGEM have some rain for saturday, but clear it out for sunday. Obviously it would be great to have all 3 days nice, but 2 out of 3 for a holiday weekend isn't too bad.
  6. Unlike the GFS, the 12z GGEM at least gets the wet weather out of the way in time for sunday. Hopefully we'll have decent weather for cookouts sunday and monday, but it'll be awhile before we know the holiday weekend details as bluewave said.
  7. Having a decent downpour here, but nothing too impressive. Looking like the heavier stuff is gonna miss just to our south.
  8. Heading into Hunterdon county. Looks on track to hit our area, but we'll have to see if it holds together.
  9. And I see the Euro just increased amounts. 12z run gives us about .75 here.
  10. NAM showing a lot more than the other models. Euro and HRRR give us closer to a quarter inch. We'll see.
  11. It's going to be close. The northern part of the line will at least get into Middlesex County.
  12. Yeah it's ridiculous to cancel things for severe t-storm threats because t-storms are so unpredictable. You cancel a game for a steady rainstorm, not scattered t-storms. Crazy but as you said, the hype is ridiculous and leads to bad decisions.
  13. The storms to the southwest of Allentown look pretty good, so the threat isn't over yet. Hopefully they'll hold together and hit us in a couple hours.
  14. Just had a nice downpour here with some rumbles of thunder. Hoping to see a strong storm later.
  15. The 76 degrees here right now feels great with the dewpoint in the high 20s. Spectacular day ... probably a top 10 of the year.
  16. 70 degrees here. Perfect spring weather this week.
  17. Yeah looking at radar, it appears that we're gonna have a few waves of moderate rain today. Should give us the .50 or so that we need to hit 2". Miserable out there ..... looking forward to the much warmer weather coming for mid to late week.
  18. 74 degrees here. Certainly nice and warm today. Beautiful day.
  19. Up to 71 degrees here now and not a cloud in the sky. Absolutely perfect spring weather.
  20. I think 60s are nice, but I agree that we'd like to see some 70s soon. It's long range, but we are seeing some signs that warmer 70s will be coming in during the week of May 9th. At that point we're heading into mid May, so you would think it's likely.
  21. Beautiful day, despite the wind. Temp is up to 59 here.
  22. Yeah yesterday the temp fell to the mid 50s during the afternoon due to the east wind, but it felt so much better because it was sunny.
  23. 68 degrees here. Turned into a beautiful afternoon.
