    Those Legoland temps always seem suspiciously high. Hard to believe it's 6 above there and -10 in two other locations surrounding it, Chester and the Goshen station. What would make them 16 degrees higher? -3 here.

    Currently 0. Forecast low was 2 so now it's just a matter of how far off it ends up. A fresh 8 inch snow cover doing its thing. I may break December 23 -3 tonight, tomorrow night too from the look of things.

    Speaking of snow totals my final here was 8.2 inches. Eastern Orange County seems to be the jackpot in this one. All of the 8-9 inch totals seem to extend from here to parts of Dutchess. The band that extended over those areas from about 1:30-4:00 was impressive.

    Maybe it's 2 inches now after a whole night of compression and settling. Doubtful at midnight last night when they measured it was 1.6 but it's par for the course.

    30 miles west of Danbury, Highland Mills NY 8.1 inches as of 11:00 PM with moderate snow in what looks to be the last band. I can now officially call it an over performer, I was expecting 6-7 21.8 inches now for the season.
