  1. JFK 33 on May 23 2022? Pretty extreme if legit.
  2. That also seems pretty early for the last freeze of the spring. My temperature records aren't as extensive, but my average date for the last freeze is right around the beginning of May.
  3. I'd be curious to see the Saturdays and Sundays in here too. I particularly remeber a recent Memorial Day weekend maybe 5-7 years ago, my oldest son played golf on a Saturday in the rain with temperatures in the low 40's during the afternoon. Similar to today but 5-7 degrees colder.
  4. 49° with light rain. I'll take it over the 90° a couple of days ago.
  5. Didn't make freezing this morning, 35.6 for the low, so I guess April 21st will hold as last freeze for the spring. I can't remember a year where 23 degrees was our last freeze and no freeze after that, pretty extreme.
  6. Bottomed out at 21, the average low for this date is 34.
  7. It depends on where in the forum you're located. It varies from about March 10 to March 25 South to north.
  8. It hasn't been sticking anywhere but it has snowed at different times all afternoon in Orange County Snowing and 35 degrees.
  9. A little frightening in March.
  10. No not me. I doubled checked and I recorded 11.2 from that storm. Elevations in Highland Mills run from 450 to 900 feet. I'd just stick with the 11.6 report a half inch variation in town is pretty common depending where in town you reside.
  11. I received 11.2 from that storm. Just far enough south to catch the north end of a few heavy bands but to far north to stay in them and missed out on the 25-30 inch amounts just to the south.
  12. Not a terrible suggestion. Average highs in the 40's throughout Met winter though so I can't see their snow sticking around that long. Never lived there though so if anyone has I'd be interested to know.
  13. F this. April 22nd I'm okay with it, not March 22. Basically 20-25 degrees above normal. To much too soon, like last weeks travesty.
  14. I could live with 70 and sunny for 8 months if you give me cold and snowy for four months. Unfortunately, there's nowhere in the world where that place exists.
  15. It won't be once I move to Mars. The lack of water there however, will be a problem for snowfall. Musk has to get that solved.
  16. Good please keep it there. 80 degrees in March is ridiculous and a little bit unnerving.
  17. https://www.clarksfuneral.ca/obituaries/Roger-James-Smith?obId=47411042 Pretty bummed to read this tonight. I hadn't seen any posts from him for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately now I know why. Didn't quite know how to take him at first. A guy from BC commenting on our local weather as much as he did, but you could tell right away he was informed, courteous and interesting. Just a weather nut with a lot of knowledge that would engage with anyone. I'll miss his posts and contests. Proud to have won one of them this year. Who knew, 76 doesn't seem that old anymore. RIP Roger you will be sorely missed.
  18. In Saranac Lake? That seems fairly routine. In East Hartford? That's a great season.
  19. You're not even technically in this geographical forum. Why do you always speak as if you speak for the entire population of the forum when at best you're the southern extreme.
  20. Never any mention of all the under measured amounts though. Central Park 19.7, nope.
  21. Anything for latitude north of NYC?
  22. I'll let you know on April 1. Seen way to many mid March to early April snowstorms to give a final grade on March 8th. For now a B+.
  23. Dont you live in Philadelphia? How do you make these declarative statements for a region you're not even part of.
