  1. Maybe in urban and shore areas I doubt for the whole forum.
  2. Things evened up February 25-26 2010 when NYC received 21 inches and much of the HV west of the Hudson received 25-40 inches. I received 35 in Highland Mills the biggest storm total I've recorded here.
  3. Let us know what you end up with. It looks like the heavy stuff stayed offshore for the most part. Northern areas doing a little better. They're still predicting up to 20 inches for eastern Newfoundland but I can't see that happening either. Maybe a foot.
  4. I've waited to long for a stretch like this with deep snow cover and sustained cold so I'm still enjoying it. Give me another month to six weeks of this and I might be ready to cry uncle.
  5. Would be a shame to lose it to one hourly 33 degree reading this coming week but that's probably what will happen
  6. The trend east never stopped. Even Nova Scotia in danger of missing most of it now.
  7. You should have moved to Newfoundland, they seem to be ground zero now. Could this F'n storm disappoint any other regions? 87 pages and the entire northeast US may not see a tenth of an inch out of it.
  8. Myrtle Beach 23 right now and moderate snow. In the last 100 years you could probably count on one hand the number of times they've had temps in low 20's with moderate snow falling.
  9. Was zero at midnight and then the clouds rolled in and that was that.
  10. Disappointing this morning. Was 0 at midnight and then the clouds rolled in. Was up to 5 by 7 am.
  11. 1.8 above. Not gonna get anywhere near -10 at this rate.
  12. 4.1* light breeze. sub zero is a lock, if we stay clear and get winds to zero and we go -10.
  13. Nice city Halifax, spent several days there last June. Explored the Cabot trail and spent some time up in Sydney. That area and of course the Cape Breton Highlands look to be ground zero for the Atlantic provinces. Enjoy your time there. Permanent move or temporary ?
  14. We've gone this far to see one 33 or 34 degree day next week would actually suck.
  15. Bottomed out at 0° this morning. I would fully expect all non-Urban and non shore areas to go below zero tonight, if skies remain clear and winds calm. I would expect a lot of double digit below zero in the forum area tomorrow morning in the usual colder spots.
  16. I bottomed out at 0° this morning. 0.3° to be exact. With clear skies, calm winds and deep snow cover, I would expect the entire northern forum to be below zero tomorrow morning. I would also expect to see many double digit below zero. I might be wrong, but we shall see.
  17. I was -2.7 this morning. That would round to -3. That's the way I've always done it. If it had been -2.5 I would have done the same.
  18. Morning low was -2.7°, my coldest so far this season. 43.0 inches of snow so far this season and today marks day 46 with snow cover
  19. Morning low was -2.7°, my coldest so far this season. 43.0 inches of snow so far this season and today marks day 46 with snow cover. Passing last years total of 51 days appears to be a lock.
  20. Way to many Boston references in there coming from a supposed New Yorker.
  21. A lot of us just received 15-18 inches of snow and the temperature never went above 12. Do better than it's too cold.
  22. With a forecast low of 4° tonight it's already down to 1.4°.
  23. Central Park had 53 consecutive days of snowpack that winter. Most of the days were 6 inches plus in depth. They didn't set the record but it was close. If Don sees this he would probably know what the record is for consecutive days. Off the top of my head I'm thinking it's 58?
