  1. More likely it's the wind blowing across miles and miles of cornfields east of the bay.
  2. Imagine the SB with no fans lol.
  3. And wtf is Seattle doing making that Adams trade? Good player, but they gave up way too much. Talk about going all in. They better win a SB in the next 2 years.
  4. Os will win 5 of first 20, and be buried a third of the way into a severely shortened season. But, baseball is back. Just enjoy it, regardless of the results. NBA is back this week, and NFL training camps are underway.
  5. Ravens 15-1 Orioles 14-46
  6. At least they wont start 0-21.
  7. LOL last winter. The antithesis. We should probably get used to it.
  8. I rarely if ever get drunk anymore. Don't like the feeling, and hangovers suck. I just have my Happy Hour everyday. More enjoyable.
  9. Drinking a Monument Brewer's Exclusive #2 Hazy IPA.
  10. The Ravens win more games than the Os.
  11. Epic HL blocking for the entire winter. It seemingly occurred so easily...effortless. It's like a fantasy now- something that simply cannot occur. Extinct.
  12. All the climo models will look like garbage, all the indices will point to another craptastic winter, but we luck into a few decent events. We are due for some flukes.
  13. Sad state of affairs in Os land. Its going to take awhile, and not sure there is any light at the end of the tunnel without a change in ownership.
  14. I used to watch a lot of baseball during the Ripken years. Gradually lost interest, Always been more of an NFL fan, but even that I don't plan my Sundays around anymore.
  15. You should be way into the NE Hazy IPAs by now. Some good DIPAs up there, but ofc nothing is like the 120. Long Trail Brewing in VT has some good ones.
  16. That should be easy for them, considering there are only 60 games. I'll go with 15.
  17. Lucky you. I tried to find one around here. No dice. Next batch is to be brewed sometime in the fall, maybe. No WWS either. Gotta go to a place like Atlantic Liquors in Rehoboth I guess.
  18. They win 20 games. Over? Under?
  19. Red Skies Great song by the Fixx. Red skies at night Red skies at night Red skies at night Red skies at night Should have taken warning, it's just People mourning Running, hiding, lost You can't find, find a place to go, so it's Red skies at night Red skies at night Should have taken warning, it's just People ignoring Running, hiding, lost You can't find, find a place to go, so it's Red skies at night Red skies at night..
  20. Nice outflow boundary moving through here now.
  21. 79 here, but still humid. Pretty decent line of storms moving south over here. See if it holds together. Might pick up a bit more rain this evening.
  22. It was the WP yes. Polls conducted since then have produced different results. Ofc you are talking about an extremely small segment of the population, and for those who live on reservations, there are limited means by which to contact them and obtain useful data. I just take a step back, "forget" the abhorrent history wrt treatment of native Americans, and think of it like this- would Yellowskins be acceptable for a team name? How about Blackskins? Whiteskins? How about Crackers? Don't think so. Could you imagine addressing a native American by saying, Yo, Redskin!
  23. I have tried about every blend of tall fescue, including local blends specifically formulated for the soils of the eastern shore (Talbot Ag). They were horrible lol. Burned up by June. All blends fail in the direct sun areas during the high sun period of summer. Now I am in the woods, with very well drained soil, so that is an issue. The pH is good, and i feed correctly. Best results I have had is with original Black Beauty, but it also fails in the direct sun areas. I am going to reseed in a few weeks in those areas (thatch now) with their "sunny" blend, and see how that does.
  24. Southern NJ and also the MD beaches getting pummeled this afternoon. Just had a very brief downpour here. 0.35" since midnight, and 1.45" for the week. 5.33" for the month so far.
