  1. Looks like its over here, No wind, which is fine with me. Impressive deluge and back end electrical storm with the following cell. 1.45" Y'all can have tomorrow.
  2. Well the second part has been impressive with frequent thunder and lightning. Looks like the rain should slack up soon per radar. 1.42"
  3. Incredible thunder and lighting with this second part. Just unplugged all my high end audio gear.
  4. Getting in on the edge of that severe area here now. Booming house rattling thunder.
  5. Yes! But the thunder is ominous now. Over an inch of rain so far. Boom! Damn that was close.
  6. The sw edge of this line moving through Wye Mills looks potent. I think that will slide south of me, Booming thunder now. 0.92" so far
  7. Nothing severe here but absolutely pouring with some T & L.
  8. Torrential. Some decent T&L too.
  9. Its definitely full bodied, and full of alcohol
  10. Looked great at 12z for I-95 and points east.
  11. Mount Holly updated AFD for severe threat this evening and tomorrow-
  12. Probably shouldn't be drinking a high gravity monster a couple hours after donating blood, but wth. Cheers!
  13. Yeah pretty much all the CAMs are onboard for tomorrow. Might be legit.
  14. Euro drops in a deep trough and closes it off over the 4 corners, thus the extreme change in temperature. A bit extreme even for there in early Sept. though. I will go out on a limb- it won't go from mid 90s to 30s for highs in one day lol. Definitely looks like a major shift in the h5 pattern, but probably more like highs in the 50s, maybe 40s for a few days in Denver itself.
  15. I find milk stouts always lack complexity, and ofc they tend to be low gravity. The creamy smoothness is the appeal for the most part. The pour with nitro is always 'critical' lol. I drink them once in a while but much prefer a BIG Imperial stout.
  16. What is that? Clearly a stout. Nice head.
  17. Celebrating the first day of meteorological Fall with a DFH 120 min IPA for HH.
  18. I hadn't paid yet. Pay at pick up. Its a shame but its their fault for not heeding the warnings. The sushi bar where the 2 dudes are are making the sushi is visible when you go in to pick up, so I am sure they had lots of complaints. I was only ordering hot/cooked food. I think I have eaten sushi once since March.
  19. Went to pick up my order of Malaysian red curry chicken at U Sushi in Easton, and saw them getting shut down in real time. Heath Dept dude was there with all the paperwork and stopped me heading towards the door. They were warned multiple times about failure to wear masks while preparing food. It's really not difficult to simply comply.
  20. September edition of the CanSIPS is out. My glass half full overview- Overall it looks less torchy for the winter months than the previous run. For December, not a half bad look, and verbatim just about average temps. At h5 the positive heights in the EPAC are such that the mean ridge is decently placed..close enough for perhaps a +PNA at times. Beyond that the heights shift westward in Jan, but still not a terrible look for the east coast- maybe a gradient type pattern. By Feb the EPAC ridge is a monster, max +height anomalies south of the Aleutians, and whatever winter there was would be over. Up top, December looks like a neutral AO/NAO, Jan a somewhat +AO/NAO, Feb ++AO/NAO. So not much help in the high latitudes.
  21. 0.12" of spits and drizzle today. Breaking up quickly now. Unless something dynamic occurs in this most un-dynamic of set ups, looks like 11.2" will be the monthly total here.
  22. At least they are "smart" enough to know they can't compete this year, even with the significantly shortened season and expanded playoffs. We will see how it plays out going forward.
  23. Yeah. I didn't say it was gonna feel like Fall.
  24. Fall tomorrow y'all. yesssssssssssss
