  1. 62 and partly sunny. Perfect outside other than the gross smelling fresh cow flop based fertilizer on the fields out in front of my property. #ruralliving
  2. Bourbon Barrel Aged WWS for happy hour. Superb.
  3. Cloudy day here with a high of 56. Dry though. Currently 47, with maybe a light sprinkle heading this way per radar.
  4. Its best to eradicate any infestation(wd-40 or an insecticide) and then plug the holes in the fall- don't plug until the larvae are dead, or the woodpeckers will come get them. Put the traps up in those locations. Carpenter bees always come back to the previous nesting site, so without the opening to the actual nest there, they go right into the traps. I have fought this for many years owning a log home, and this will give the best results. Still have to monitor for drilling in new locations, and place traps as needed.
  5. How bout dem Red Sox. Os seem to be finding their level lol.
  6. Looks like the coastal low gets going offshore, so odds favor higher impact NE of here. Probably will be a period of showers, esp for eastern areas maybe Thursday, but my hunch is we mostly stay on the drier west side, so the bark may be worse than the bite looking at h5. eta- upper 50s/low 60s are fine with me. Ofc I will be stuck inside working all week so it wont matter much lol. Would be nice in the evenings outside of any showery periods.
  7. Some heavy rain showers here this morning, but didn't hear any thunder. 0.45" See how much clearing we can get later. Might pop a few t-storms.
  8. Looks like partly sunny all next week with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Maybe a random shower here and there. Hard to complain about that if it verifies.
  9. get both. picked them up today. the 120 is like no other IPA, and the raison is superb imo.
  10. Yeah baby. It's been awhile. This bad boy is big. BIG. Just gonna sip it. (see that danger cap?)
  11. They have plenty in the shop at the DFH Brewery in Milton, along with the regular WWS and other hard to find high gravity beers. I haven't seen it at any stores locally for a long time. Make a reservation online and you can go into the tap room and eat and drink, or eat/drink outside. It was pretty packed today as the sun came out early down there. Cool place if you haven't been yet.
  12. They need edge rushers, and he could help, at the right price. Still productive but past his prime.
  13. Regular WWS or bourbon barrel aged for HH? Think I will go with the original. They both are right at the top of the list of high gravity stouts for me, along with a few others.
  14. AB working out with his cuz and Lamar again, just like this time last year. Ravens should sign him this time.
  15. I'll save the aged ones for the dog days, which will probably begin in late May lol.
  16. So anyway.. Went to the DFH brewery and came back with 120 bucks worth of 'danger cap' beer, including a 2014 120 min IPA and a 2008 WWS.
  17. Been partly sunny here since around 11 am. Temp is up to 72.
  18. 52 here with clouds/fog/mist. Should be a dry and mostly cloudy day, with maybe some sun breaks later, and quite a bit warmer than yesterday's high of 57. So far the High pressure to the NE has kept any significant rain mostly west of here. Looks like that will start to change late tonight.
  19. It did, but I couldn't be bothered lol. Other than the "featured" area, which I mowed yesterday, the rest is a combo of various weeds and moss among the trees lol. It can wait.
  20. Yeah, who am I kidding lol.
  21. 57 with some sun breaks here. Breezy and cool. Dry day after a few sprinkles this morning. Overall I would take another week or 2 of weather like this vs days and days of 70s and humid. Save that for May.
  22. A drink or 2 wont hurt, but more than that wouldn't be very wise, given the possibility of side effects from the vaccine. That on top of drinking might not be pleasant lol. I had a beer a couple hours after getting the first moderna shot.
