    Picked up a tenth overnight. In Easton now at work and it's pouring. Looks like this heading towards home.

    Here it would be mostly rain for sure. That was a 50 deg sunny day, but once the sun went down and heavy precip began, 32 deg start to finish. Perfect wet bulbing with dynamical/evap cooling combo. All heavy wet snow. Ended up with a foot. 10- 15 miles south it was mostly/all rain.

    YES to 86-87. Very nice winter for the MA coastal plain. Back to back winter storms in mid/late Jan. The SB Sunday storm was awesome. And a paste bomb in Feb.

    As advertised, the weekend looks pretty darn nice for the latter third of July. Especially Sunday.

    Not seeing a signal on the means over the next 2 weeks for 'big heat' in our region. Mostly upper 80s- low 90s. Latest CFS looks like this at h5 for August- 2m temps are average.

    Rain over. 1.7" total. Brightening in the western sky after a strangely dark day. Temp is 75. Humid but not that bad out.

    Back edge finally moving through. 1.65". Very little runoff, so a nice event here. Pretty surprised based on guidance 24 hours ago. 4.75" for the month.

    I can see that out there with downsloping/compressional heating, and a relatively dry airmass. No idea about the frequency (now vs then)

    I don't think I have ever seen 100 here. That generally only happens in the urbanized areas of our region, and even there it isn't very common. We typically see plenty of low to mid 90s days. Not so much this summer so far.

    A dark and rainy July day here. Not exactly what I had envisioned from the forecast. 1.45" and still light to moderate rain falling.

    I really enjoyed this one. There was a month+ with pretty much nothing after the big Dec storm. The airmass was super cold and it snowed steadily all day from start to finish. No wind, just a peaceful snowy winter day. And the epic early Feb period was showing up on guidance at this point.

    Moderate rain here. Dover radar is down but it looks like some heavier stuff is on the doorstep. It appears the areas SE of here that got pummeled this morning might be in line for more.

    This is the storm I mentioned in my post. Giants pummeled Denver in the 1987 SB. Washington pummeled them in Jan of 1988 lol.

    Picked up 0.56" overnight on the NW edge of the persistent/training storms. Flash Flood warning in effect just to my SE where 2-4" has fallen, and it is still pouring in some areas.

    Good idea. I use pure maple syrup for sweetener mostly. Healthier. I do like the cinnamon idea. Hmm.. I have a little Fireball..maybe a tiny bit of that will do the trick

    I have been drinking more whiskey/bourbon lately. Mostly an Old Fashioned. I make em strong, and not very sweet. They bite.

    Drinking a Ten Fidy Barrel-aged Imperial stout. A little burned out on IPAs. Looking forward to my trip to the UK in 2 weeks. Some enjoyable and interesting beer drinking will happen there.
