Getting a garden variety storm with some decent thunder. Best part of it looks like a miss to the SW.
-
Most of it came in a 10 min downpour. Got lucky with this line then a bit more behind it.

0.33" overnight

WW loves to hug the most favorable model, even when its the NAM lol. Doesn't usually work out too well.

Grass is always green in Spring. Even in a drought. Okay, but what makes you think that is a possibility?
-
Great pick by the Ravens. A player they coveted. The best player available was also a position of need. LFG! Goodbye Marcus Williams. You wont be missed.
-
Uh yeah. This sort of crap doesn't help your case Brandon. Ask Kjerstad about rotting on the bench.

Central/N central MD is in a severe drought. It would take a inch+ to move the needle. A half inch or less is pretty meh unless its a prelude to a wetter period.
-
My wetland, which never got totally wet, is now drying up. Just a few areas that have 2-3 inches of water. I hit it with a bit more larvicide today.
-
Looks pretty paltry(if you don't hug one model) esp for the places that really need it.

Elias is stuck in 'development mode' and should be fired. The reality is this team is lost and sinking fast. Hyde will probably be the one to go, despite the pitching issues/injuries being largely out of his control. This team is completely listless and with high expectations someone has to take the fall.

The long hot days will drag on seemingly forever, before our brief respite of shorter days and longer nights return once again. Life in the subtropics of the MA.

Bored with baseball already. 2 days until the NFL draft. 11 picks. Trade up, trade down, trade Andrews? LFG Ravens!
-
Anyone watching The Last of Us? Holy crap.

Eff baseball. Eff Elias. NFL back in the spotlight this week. Round 1 of the draft in prime time Thursday. Ravens have 11 picks in the draft. They are so good at accumulating extra picks, and for a team that is always competitive and consistently drafts in the bottom, they always find talented players who can contribute right away.

He pitched- 1 inning and gave up 5 runs

20-1 lol Pitching is brutal.
-
Not sure how humans can stand it either lol. I have been doing this for years and it works. I cut a bar in half, make a hole in it and tie it onto a Shepard's hook so it hangs above my rose bushes.

Sun broke out here an hour or so ago. Up to 80.

Latest update from US Drought monitor- https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?MD Went from moderate drought to slightly abnormally dry here with the rains of the last couple weeks. Central MD and westward to Frostburg remain in a severe drought.

He gone. Up to the young pitchers and hope the Os are within a few games of 500 when/if Bradish and Wells make it back down the road. This is all on Elias.
-
Yeah they need to do something. The long regular season doesn't mean much anymore when so many teams get in. Two years ago 3 teams won 100+ games and had to sit around for 5 days, then all lost in the actual first round(division series) to inferior teams who got hot at the end and maintained their momentum. All about money ofc.
-
They could sneak in as a wildcard finishing 5 games over 500. The long ass season in Baseball(that used to mean something) has become almost like the NBA. Ridiculous.
-
It really does. Feels good out in the sun working in the garden with temps in the low 70s and DP around 50. No sweat.

Well consider that several of the Orioles young players are represented by Scott Boras, most notably Gunnar Henderson. How many will they be able to(willing to) extend, when Boras advises them not to go that route? That being the case, Henderson will be a FA in 2028 and probably end up a Dodger.
