    Anytime the pattern isn't perfect, there is a chance that it doesn't work out, but there are plenty of instances of RNA/-NAO working out around here.

    So he's "triggered" when people post random warm maps of one snapshot in time, and triggered when he asks why he is being weenied when also simply posting maps....interesting lol Gotta love how posting long range snowstorms draws ridicule, but posting extended lead warm charts is "factual". This place is unbearable when it's not snowing.

    Not a horrible forecast, as the deemphasizing of this event due to the inability of meager dynamics to offset advancing mid level warmth was the right idea, but I didn't reduce quite enough. The 2-5" across far northern area was 1"+, and the 1-3" area from route 2 region down to just south of the pike was under an inch.     This is instance of a true troll post...its not factually correct. There is major retrograding NAO block seeping cold down the coast, so showing an H5 image of a se ridge due to the RNA is pretty misleading.

    I feel like you are referring to a bonafide snow storm....IMHO the notion of a front end inch or two that won't get totally wiped out is pretty plausible.

    I agree with your post. And I honestly feel as though you are just someone who genuinely enjoys pleasant weather. I feel like Mike (Forky) just likes to neeedle people endlessly. Bit of a difference...is he doing anything "wrong", per se...no. Being a jerk isn't a crime.

    Wilmington spent a lot more time above freezing than I did...it was still like 37 there just prior to dawn, where as I was back below freezing just after midnight
