  1. Yes. Get it out of the way, sooner or later we won't have to hear you chirping us incessantly about regression.
  2. I think I need to see early Feb to go ratter territory just because I expect the stratosphere to get active around that time....if that isn't happening, and it looks bleak, then yes....rat it is.
  3. He isn't perfect, but one thing that I will say for DT is that he doesn't utilize forecasts as clickbait like so many other internet mets.
  4. This is the complete inverse pattern of 2014-2015.
  5. Yea, I am no where near that. However, if we somehow make it into the second week of January without anything significant on the imminent horizon, then I will be worried about some of my seasonal forecast ranges.
  6. I honestly don't care...in fact, whereas I work in the AM, CT can have the inch.
  7. The 18z has the right idea....pin the good snows in CT, and pork my area.
  8. The RNA is so prominent that the blocking is what makes it possible to even snow in NNE.
  9. Believe me, take a look at most of the NFL owners....just lucky sperm that are born, roll out of bed and collect billions.
  10. Wilmington and Tewksbury looked bare....maybe it was just by the highway.
  11. I am confident that the second half of January goes to crap again.
  12. I agree with you, and I think Jerry has also said, that the second wave in January (10thish) has a better shot to produce. I think if that one somehow fails, we maybe in some trouble.
  13. Yea, I average at least a foot in December, and I have 2.75" on the month. This month has been brutal with respect to snowfall.
  14. I have never waived a white flag....I just melted to vent frustration.
  15. Again, most of SNE, and NNE for that matter, has done better than I have over the course of the past several years. I have finished greater than 10" below normal for three consecutive seasons and am well on my way to a fourth, at this point. That is why I am so frustrated.
  16. I just posted in the other thread that I have a couple of inches about 2 mi from the NH line in N Mass, but its gone by the time you hit I 495. I surprised...I though the snow early Sunday AM had made it father south.
  17. I have a couple of inches right now, but its all gone once you hit 495.
  18. Well my honest answer is that its both for me...no doubt I suffer from that addictive affliction to which you allude, but its also a legit hobby. What validates the latter for me is the hours that I spend researching the craft on an annual basis....that balances the addictive proclivities that are on display for you fine folks to see during the winter season. When I end up expecting decent snow, and am left wiping my ass with the 20+ pages of elaborately scientific description of what did NOT happen, its frustrating....you bet.
  19. Yea, most great seasons are great because of a signature event.
