Yes...sensible weather....that season was +PNA. In a way, one could argue the RNA is giving the interior a shot because I think its the se ridge that is helping to shred these SWs that would otherwise cut.

All I am saying is that people should try to keep an open mind, despite how frustrating this season has been...and for many, continues to be. I am NOT saying that anyone who doesn't feel this winter will turn around is silly, or a joke....not at all. Its possible this winter just ends up as a rat for many locales. I just hedge against that....at least for much of New England, anyway.

I don't think he is a joke....this season could easily remain terrible for the coast. I just happen to believe that there remains some upside late in the game to get closer to normal. Interior could still have a big year, though.

I actually never expected a major SSW event by definition....Cohen seems to think that we don't need a major one and a minor would be sufficient.

Looking at some of the strat stuff, I'm getting a bit more confident that I have the right idea for March. I feel like January the thaw just came earlier than I thought, and obviously the month was just much milder...I had around normal. The pac jet just dominated the month. I expected it to be an issue this season, but didn't expect January to be so mild. February maybe colder then I had to off set it a bit.

Only thing that I am willing to concede is that my timing was off.....really feeling like we culminate this interior orgy with a coastal coming out party, then thaw again in February before shit goes down again for March.
