  1. Verification: https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2019/06/winter-outlook-2018-2019-verification.html Note that the final grade is representative of the overall, DM performance of the temp and snowfall forecast from the mid atlantic through SNE. Obviously, if we are just grading SNE snowfall, than its an F. But we aren't....so C-
  2. I just need a break after winter...I go hard for like 5 months. I still have to do my post season write up...been backed up writing assessments at work.
  3. Hi for the year so far today....82.8 off a low of 52.3. Unusually cool mornings late into year...hit 40 Tuesday am...I radiate very well. 64.0/55.2
  4. This winter's tenor continues right into the afterlife.
  5. What a winter there...wow. At least my epic call verified somewhere.
  6. At least I'm comfortably numb...not even close up here. But I hit 65 Saturday and 69 today. I'll take that wknd and run.
  7. Ooh, ooh...me. North. At least the decaying snow mounds lined in a layer of calcified fecal matter in the deepest recesses of the Tolland Mall parking lot will be preserved a bit longer-
  8. Book that. Huge gradient 10mi north of me.....encapsulates 2019 perfectly.
  9. Man, 50/50 much? That is not cutting should that 50/50 feature and the block materialize. Nope-
  10. Just think...if it warms up a bit, it will be a wet dream
  11. Well, I thought the damn blog was done, but here we are: https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2019/04/can-spring-2019-deliver-storm-that.html
  12. You are so triggered by incorrect weary/leery usage lol
  13. I'm going to delve into this tomorrow night...no real time tonight, but I do buy the NAO. I think it works to our advantage that the seasonal forcing deck has been reshuffled, as the wavelengths shorten with the seasonal transition. This happened in 1997....sucky seasons can let their guard down and forget that they suck when transitioning.
  14. Yea, no need to exacerbate the issue. Hopefully if spring sucks we at least see some snow.
  15. No, just litters the board...which is why I deleted.
  16. 39.4/33.8 Visibility reduced to less than 1/4 of a mile in heavy verification.
  17. Can see the band tailing off the the east pretty sharply over SNE...scratch the ORH hills accumulation.
  18. Yea, that was my second largest event of 7"...the one right after the gtg that trended into a sleet fest at the last moment. Your longitude helped you there. Very similar seasons for us, though.
  19. Yea, my largest was 8.5"....just thee warning events of 6"+, one of which was in mid Novie.
  20. I have had more blogs for like 1-3" events this season....now into April, I'm just like "f8ck that"...done. It needs to be a slam dunk this time of year, and this was lacking.
