  5. What's left in life if we can't complain about the Nam and Srefs?
  6. On October 6, say goodbye to the NAM, HREF, and SREF, and say hello (?) to some or all of these things replaced with RRFS/ensemble RRFS. I don't know what that's going to look like and I don't know how various web sites will deal the new data feed. I would imagine that the SREF was not really preferred for various reasons. However, it is definitely going to feel strange going to the Pivotalweather or College of Dupage web sites, and not see the NAM, at all, ever.
  7. Thanks! I hope so, because life right now, between the pain and fatigue, just isn't fun.
  8. Eps totals thru Friday, with showers still in the area.

  10. Hoping we see this advertised from the Eps come winter.
  11. Eps looks like it'll come in with a similar qpf/storm progression outcome, thought likely not as extreme, as the operational.
  12. Thankfully I don't live anywhere near Newark. I have been out on my boat just about every day this week and the long Island sound water temps are still mid 70's. The middle of the sound out to the race is still 75-77 degrees..
  13. Slp just sits off the coast. Chilly in the wake of the storm. Hello Fall! Will this be a familiar scenario thru the winter? Let's hope.
  14. Cold and snow are much less correlated north of 44 N.
  15. Rain doesn't stop on Euro until 108hrs. Lol
  16. Totals thru Tuesday 11pm. Still raining south of PA border too
  17. Today
  18. Euro coming in pretty wet now too thru 78hrs and more to fall.

  20. Yeah for record highs in the winter at least, the classic way to do that around here is a Great Lakes Cutter tracking north and west of here. rainy/wet snow/slop mix coastals without cold air are more of a warm overnight low type of deal, and those are what I expect. December 2015 was the weird one because we actually did get lows going well NW despite being a super El Niño.
  21. Yeah it's weird. Always seems to happen around this time of year too.
