Dam those tides are rising fast! 3.94 at 8 pm, high tide till 1 hour 33 mintues away, action stage at 4.5 minor flooding 4.8... might be closed for months or at a minimum a long time with this storm.

It’s oddly warmer tonight than you’d think, I just looked at my station online and it’s still 60.3. Was thinking it would be like 52 or something. If tomorrow is mainly dry .. you would think some big rips . Most guidance pegs overnight tomorrow into early Sunday for strongest winds CT

Rain has started here and wind really picking up.

Widespread 45-50 mph; but with the low-level jet racing just overhead I think you can't dismiss quite a few 50+ gusts; focused on southern third of CT; coastal plain and hills of northeast and northwest CT. Playing with fire with that low-level jet making 2 passes over us... any hint of slightly destabilized low-level atmosphere, convective elements and it's off to the races. If the daylight hours Saturday stay mostly rain-free we could add some sneaky warming into the lower levels??? I know many setups under-perform, but there are some impressive items in play here. Add fully leafed trees (heavy wet leaves), and things could go south quickly, unless everything shifts south.
