Powerball Posted yesterday at 04:58 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:58 PM Funny thing is, while humidity will be lower, there's likely a better shot at 100s with this round compared to the last one, with the peak currently projected to be Tuesday/Wednesday. Duration is a lot more questionable though (especially with NE extent). 1

BeastFromTheEast
Euro throwing up some wild numbers for Wednesday. Looks super funky with a pocket of dewpoints in the 50s! 102/55 ORD For me personally if it’s gonna torch I’d rather it be a very dry heat like this. Evaporative cooling FTW!
Brian D
They upped the temps the next few days from around 90 to mid 90's here in town. SW winds will bring hot air, along with some down sloping effect from the ridges. We'll see how this pans, but it'll be nasty without A/C.

Brian D
Around 80 on the shoreline to upper 80's inland today. Dews upper 60's to low 70's. Mid 80's imby. Tomorrow starts the really hot stuff. We'll see how much.
