Been away for work the last 10 days... what a difference! This setup reminds me of the storm in 2022 where we got close to a foot of snow, with the difference in our neighborhood being that many trees that had leafed out are all shriveled this year because of 20 degree temps a couple weeks ago- so, ironically, are protected! 35 F and 0.20 inches of rain so far.

About 8” now, and power went out an hour ago. The trees are already drooping a lot.

34 degrees here, several degrees below what was forecast for this time of day.

All the 12z models are coming in snowier, especially for your area it seems. 12z Euro...

Amazingly, at 11" now.  Snowfall rates are picking up too.  This storm is definitely delivering for Larimer County.

Some flakes mixing with rain here, temps up to 36. But the forecast really doesn't have any accumulation until the front passes late tonight. So no rational fears of a bust here, just the typical irrational ones.

Changed here at 5 PM sharp, was real heavy for an hour, now much lighter. Catching its breath I guess. Accumulation is going to be hard to assess due to melting as it falls, but my white styrofoam box lid is ready and waiting. Maybe an inch and a half??

Pretty much exact same here. Just light snow past couple hours, very little additional accumulation. Gonna be all about rates the rest of the storm.

Heaviest snow of the event here west of 25 in Northglenn. Radar looks like some goods here for the next hour.

A very saturated 1.8" at 11 PM here. Rates, indeed! Need some.

Almost 7" accumulated, but only 3" overnight, which was supposed to be the bulk of the storm.

We'll see what this last wave brings this morning, if anything.

After 3 swipes of the snowboard yesterday and today - final tally 19.5” here. Perhaps another inch coming this morning but it is winding down here. What a great storm.

Some excellent moisture for the area, especially the mountains. Hopefully that keeps the edge off fire season.

 Lots of power outages in Boulder and Denver areas from the very heavy wet snow. Is this going to end up a May record breaker for Boulder?

Looks like 5-7" around Denver, 9-11" around Boulder, 5-8" around Fort Collins, 8.5"-27" in the mountains, 8" near Colorado Springs.

Even with that, still has me under 50% of normal for the season.

8" storm total here. By far the most I've seen in May in my 19 years here. 3.5" was my record.

Here is a pic from my window this morning.  Snow is too heavy for my Polaris Ranger to plow, so really hoping for some sun today.
