I am trying to remember 2013-2014. Its in my sig lol. Yeah we had snows in Feb and March. I was probably talking a lot about jebwalking with music blasting, watching snow blow by the streetlights and digging lots of snow, piling it up on the north sides of sunlight blocking objects such as cars and houses and sheds and above all to pile it way the hell up to embarrassing heights lmao. And proclaiming like I did back in those days, about liking snow to the utter exclusion of everything else and everyone else. lol, yeah I was pretty obsessed with snow then lol

I guess it's possible the improved rates have shunted the sleet line for the time being.  Radar really looks great now.

What I have been seeing down here in south central TX the last couple of hours has been a procession of bands of precip. The temp is 24. DP is 23. Winds are NNE at 14 G 28. Feels cold as heck, I'll tell you! I'm not used to this any more, been living down here 7 years. Some bands have freezing rain, Some have ZR and sleet. This band contains pretty heavy sleet. I have a half inch of fresh sleet. It's a lot easier walking on the sleet, that it was on the freshly fallen ZR that had iced my front steps. We're stacking this stuff up like blackjack chips down here overnight. I think I have a half inch of sleet then a quarter inch of ZR, then half an inch of more sleet. That sleet is really coming down right now! What a storm! This reminds me of living in Dale City in northern Virginia!

14 degrees. Moderate Snow. Half an inch. Looking forward to the heavier stuff. HRRR says all of Delaware flips to plain rain later today. For at least 2 hours. If that verifies, that will get ugly.

Everyone’s favorite radar mode is really holding the line just to the south of Fredericksburg in recent frames. Once it breaks containment it’s gonna race up I’d imagine but it’s fighting the good fight right now.
