Wind is really picking up here and the visibility is improving as downsloping starts to do work. 5.25" measurement.

I just measured 5 inches on the deck. Snow still falling beautifully. The flakes are tinier, but it's still robust.

5.3 is my final total it appears. Very solid storm! All snow, cold, high ratios. Rare around here. Wind is whipping and the temperature is dropping. Brutally cold night coming

Graph has me getting 2 more by 7 pm..

just under 5" now. Under a slightly stronger band

Probably one of the better all snow events I've had since at least the mid 2010's if not earlier. Most of our 6+ events have mixing at some point.

I’d be curious to know what the ratios are rn. It’s physically coming down hard but every dendrite is the size of a gnat

I’m just over 7”. It’s still snowing but the dendrites are microscopic on my jacket. Drifting is starting to happen as the wind picks up.

You must be immune to the downsloping. Marion and most of greater McDowell is just flurries now

It’s wild because I saw other friends in Marion say it had stopped but at least here south of Old Fort, I’ve only slacked off a couple times. Never a full stop and always more than a flurry.

Banding just keeps forming

Haven't measured in the past hour or so, but eyeballing at least 6-7" now with some drifting in the ditch line of close to a foot. Definitely one of the best all snow events that I can remember in the past 15-20 years. Typically 6"+ events have always came with some mixing issues.
