I only have 25 years and it's on the site. I still gotta go back and not only fix and update all the seasonal maps but do ones for 94-99. Season total maps are pretty much non-existent pre 2008 so i have nothing to base it on except the COOP data and climate sites. They are rough and just meant to give a general idea of the season. 

But i did do an average for 25 years when the archive only went back to 2000. 

There's also NWS maps for each climo 30-year period.

I'm fully caught up on the archive for this current season with 12 3"+ events and every single event mapped out in the snowfall maps sections if it didn't make the main archive.

I set up a dedicated page for Winter 25-26. The SNE snowfall maps page has 23 events so far that required a map (>1" for an area)

Also all the season to date stuff is on that page as well, probably do one more final update to that in April or early May.

Didn't realize i missed a very large coastal storm that clipped SE MA before Boxing Day 2010. I didn't know about that one. I'll have to do that one and add it

Have you gone through the old box saved map and text archives to make sure you didn’t miss any?

That 2010 storm before Xmas was actually a retrograde job. Backed in from almost the E or ENE. Got us a white Xmas in ORH. Cape got croaked but we had something like 2” or so.

Yup looks like it was separated into two parts on the 20-21st and the 23rd. The pns lists it as two separate events even though it was part of the same system.

I did. I used that as a guide back to 2008 and also used the F6 for EWR BDR BDL and ORH. And then checked pns and coop/cocorahs for those dates that showed snow and my memory as well.

I think i just didn't include it in the main archive bc it didn't affect CT with any snow >3". I am going back and filling in all the missing storms in the SNE snowfall maps pages (every N MA, E MA, S NJ only storm). There's a lot.

Working on a weather analysis for the late Feb to early March 2023... Checked out your site, but did not see a map for a Feb. 27-28, 2023 event; appears to have been widespread 4 to 6 inch amounts across FF and NH counties in CT...

You can miss it when you accidently click on 2002-2003 instead of 2022-2023... lol   Also, a function of trying to concentrate on writing reports after 8 PM!  My apologies... As always, nice work...

Yep. Clinch Leatherwood was notable…he was the original Messenger on WWBB. RIP…we lost him in 2015 but his legacy lives in everytime we mention the Messenger Shuffle. 
 

I also recognize so many names that just drifted off the board over the years but were pretty consistent posters on here.

Boston is about 1/3 seasons for a 12"+ event, ORH is about 1/2 and BDL is 1/4 and NYC though not on that list is about 1/5. I'm sure these went up considerably since 1992, probably by a lot.

They are up a ton since those were published. I have a spreadsheet I did that goes I think through 2018 or 2019. I’ll post the frequencies when I’m back on my work laptop. I think I did them for BOS and BDL too. 
 

I think ORH averaged roughly one 12”+ per winter in the last 30 years or so. That basically doubles the previous frequency. To be fair, that 1992 cutoff is brutal in the old averages….youre including the 1980s and those early 1990s years in there without the benefit of having those big 1990s years in there.

Almost the whole internet is saved on archive.org. Just enter a site and click the old links that the search crawlers saved back in the day. I just picked a random year and date and clicked through to the climo section.

I found ORH from our discussion above...I don't have BOS or BDL at my fingertips but I know it's somewhere. They follow the same general pattern but just lower frequencies.
