Most Senators were alive during the 1974 year-round DST disaster that was thus quickly reversed. And can you imagine not getting the Euro til 2AM during the crucial winter season?

Wonder if they'll try a permanent standard time bill next time?  that would fail too-no one wants sunsets an hour earlier in spring/summer.

I would think we might get all of our snow from 1 or 2 systems-think 15-16-very warm but a 3 week cold spell did the work for us.
