ChescoWx
Flash flood watch for today starts at 2pm and lasts till 2am. We should see widespread rain and t-storms later today into tonight. Some spots could see 1" to as much as 3" of rain. Shower chances will continue most of the week before finally some improvement toward next weekend. Suspect we may see another flood watch for later tomorrow into Wednesday.

LVblizzard
Last time I can remember a pattern like this was summer 2018. We had a string of lots of very humid days like this with non-severe, but drenching showers and storms. Although they did add a slight risk for today so we might get some pretty strong storms with the flood threat.

Hurricane Agnes
Had a pop-up shower yesterday that gave me 0.07" but am now under a > 2.5"/hr gully washer with 0.70" in the bucket at post time, and over 5" for the month so far. Did hit 90 today for #8 of 90+ days this month. Currently heavy rain and 75 with dp 74.

LVblizzard
Radar estimates about 1 1/2” of rain at my place. 5 miles SE there’s been 5-6” of rain with water rescues taking place on route 309. I believe part of the route is still closed since there’s still standing water there.

I believe part of the route is still closed since there’s still standing water there. The only area of the LV that got anything substantial was where that band set up along south mountain into the southern areas of the 3 cities. Most of the Valley looks to have received 1/4” or less - I only got 0.22” in lower macungie. Per radar estimates looks like there was 2“ less than a half mile south of me. It always amazes me how localized storms are in the summertime!.

Seriously Paul, I am becoming more and more concerned for our area when the tropics visit later in the season due to all these areas picking up 3-8" of rain off and on daily. Water temp down here in Sea Isle had to be close to 80f last two days just walk right on in the water zero getting used to any inkling of cooler waters. I saw an official report of 82f down in Cape May yesterday. I am not exactly sure what it is here in Sea Isle but yesterday last two days I would estimate 78-79f or so. There have been three days of east then southeast winds down here currently winds are pretty light and generally west-southwest at like 3 mph. I can envision tropical systems turning up the east coast this year as the current trough lifts out and retrogrades west or northwest bound you can almost see it coming. ChescoWx
Some rainfall amounts from yesterday Glenmoore 1.63" / East Nantmeal 1.83" / Atglen 0.20" / Chester Springs 0.75" / Devault 0.42" / Kennett Square 1.52" / Longwood Gardens 0.84" / West Bradford 0.75" / Nottingham 0.16" / Warwick Twp. 1.50" / West Chester 0.43'/ West Grove 0.09" / Avondale 2N 0.35" / KOQN Airport 0.36" / KMQS Airport 0.38". Some spots like here in East Nantmeal are up to almost 6" of rain so far this month. But that is nowhere near the record rains for the month of July across Chester and SE Berks Counties - see the top 10 rainy months below. Of course we still have time and more rain looks likely this week....so stay tuned!

ChescoWx
As seems to always be the case in this pattern showers are again likely later today into this evening. Today and tomorrow look like our warmest days...with some spots especially tomorrow possibly touching 90 degrees for the first time here in the month of July. The NWS has issued a heat advisory for tomorrow afternoon. We then turn a bit cooler with high temperatures maybe a couple of degrees below normal, starting Friday and through the weekend with highs in the low 80's. Highest rain chances after this evening look to be Saturday night into Sunday.
