* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northeastern Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northeastern Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northwestern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 1245 PM EDT.

* At 940 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
  warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Philadelphia, Norristown, West Norriton, East Norriton,
  Conshohocken, Hatboro, Ambler, Jenkintown, Narberth, Rockledge,
  Abington, and Bryn Athyn.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 324 and 348.
Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and 342.
Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 7 and 19.
Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 22.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northwestern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 1030 AM EDT.

* At 953 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Narberth, or 7 miles west of Philadelphia, moving
  northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Philadelphia, Conshohocken, Ambler, Jenkintown, Narberth,
  Rockledge, Plymouth Meeting, Germantown, Bryn Mawr, Chestnut Hill,
  Roxborough, West Conshohocken, Penn Wynne, Fort Washington,
  Glenside, Flourtown, Ardmore, Oreland, Wyndmoor and Wyncote.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Have 1.76" rain in the bucket at post time.  Temp 74 with dp 73.  Not getting any winds except some breezes and no convection being picked up on the lightning detector.

IMO the tornado warning will not be extended after 10:30....seemed to damper a bit.
