Frankly we should have been the championship game. Gonzaga? Then Michigan is just annoying! Kansas lost to Duke in Chicago and UNC there. KU may have righted the ship now. Tennessee looks good. Majors is the only coach to lose to Vanderbilt and still have a job 3 years later, since the early 1920s. I won't be shocked if things fall completely apart now. Kansas simply had a blown save - arguably the most frustrating thing in all of sports. Indeed, the most frustrating thing in all of meteorology is cold air in place and the system goes south. 'Cuse blew our doors off when he was out. When they put him back in, we came all the way back, but it took too much effort. The good thing is...I think we have our starting lineup now. Ament, Boswell, Gillespie, Carey, and Estrella(when he returns). That group can score. Then we have Abrams and Brown coming off the bench. Domes are weird places to shoot - lots of air balls until the 3 gets dialed in over time. Barnes noted that Carey and Brown is(are?) the best offensive combo in the post until Estrella returns. We came back when those guys were banging in the paint. Ament will get there. He just isn't used to getting jostled. He will toughen up and be good. It's gonna be a fun season. However I'm not buying Florida or Kentucky. Tennessee has as good a chance (or better) than anyone. Big 12 Houston will probably live up to the hype.
