Stalled/decaying fronts, fresh new fronts, waves moving along fronts, and tropical remnants. Looks wet over the next week. Lets hope. Heat with no action is boring af.

Day 11 image not available

Fully agree on the boring stuff.  If it's gona be hot, at least bring some excitement with it.  And on the flip side - look at how dry it is out west.  Not a drop over the nearly the entire W and NW.

Looks active. Heavy rain threat tonight and tomorrow, with maybe some isolated damaging winds, more storms over the weekend, with a severe potential on Sunday maybe. Then we wait and see what the tropical impacts will be next week.

Mt. Holly highlights the potential for flash flooding from training thunderstorms tonight/overnight. Deep layer shear around 25-30 knts which isn't that bad. Lapse rates are poor though. Plenty of instability

Latest NAM not as impressive as earlier today for overnight rain, FWIW. At least it finally looks to be picking up on Isaias and seems to have it on a reasonable track.

Radar looks good to me. At least for my area. I've got fogged up windows and 88 degrees outside. Our climo is flexing it's tropical muscle.

Radar is absolutely lit up

Really lit up! Surprised how quiet it is in here. Hearing some low rumbling to my south with that wall of water.

3k was underwhelming for each of our last three rainest days right before gametime.

Mod to heavy rain started about 15 minutes ago here.  Euro has over 3” by Sunday night.  Not a good weekend to be on the lake I guess.

I would love it to catch up on some reading.

this is one of the worst pity warnings in recent memory. Barely anything greater than 20mph winds north of a line from Montclair to Waldorf.

I'm so sick of the pity warnings.

I have thought about doing that whole area with fake turf. Or a hardscape.
